When do you know that you're in love?

Featured Replies

When you feel something you have never felt before.

I think love influences different people in various ways.

yeah like everybody says :blank:

but when you feel like you want to kiss someone and you always think of that person,

is that the same?

I think it's pretty much the same. But you need to see the diffrence between love and loving. ;) I had an affectiom many times, but i'm not sure if i ever been in love truly.

What if you fall in love twice like most people? :anxious: 2nd one doesn't count then.

Haha that sounds more to me like the stage long before you start loving someone.

thanks for make me feel better :dozey:

this thing is to difficult for me :P

^ I think everytime that feeling is different, because you feel it for different people, and you can to compare, one or other should be stronger.

For me its like, thinking about him all the time, And when i see him, i get this happy feeling inside.

that's just what I have

Sounds like it ain't. And although my point my seem slightly negative it is a bit realistic, when you first start being with someone you can't keep your hands off each other and you can even literally miss them within moments of leaving them and pretty much think of them all the time.

But that can't last forever, you'd go crazy, you wouldn't get anything done because you'd just wanna stay indoors with them all of the time. And as far as leaving them for a little bit of time, even if you know it's going to be weeks, you feel a comfort that no doubt you'll miss them but you know you will see them again.

So I think that initial phase of finding someone new that your really like is just very exciting, but at some stage you need to come down a bit, that's where love exists- the 'boring' part of the relationship. That's when you begin to discover if you really do feel that strongly about someone.

For me too. :D And the best thing that I can see him 5 days a week

Editor42: Its such a wonderful feeling :wacky:

I don't know why knowing what you are feeling is officially the term 'love' should make you feel better or worse? If you're happy then stop worrying about the thought of NOT being in love :shocked2:

Reilly: you just said what needed because I'm a bit confused now,

I can't stop thinking about him and when I'm with him I have to be close with him.

But after it I start thinking and than I looks so... well..... wrong

I don't know why but I have that feeling then :(

Yes it is :awesome:

Most people will probably say to me that 'NO YOU ARE TOO YOUNG TO BE IN LOVE RARTFYEreiuy8utodrijhdugyyiUAIHFTY' :snobby:

But to me, to be in love is when you think about this one person constantly,

you want to just .. caress and touch and love this person,

make this person smile and laugh,

be with this person all the time,

do things together with this person (even though it's just small things),

when the last thing you want so see before you sleep,

and the first thing you want to see when you wake up in the morning is this persons eyes and smile..

and yeah. That's how I think you know that you are in love

This, exactly.

I think a lot of what people are describing is just infatuation.

"Love is something that makes you smile whenever they are there, it makes you happy and gives you the feeling of contentment. It's about giving without wanting to get anything back. That's the most basic way of explaining it, when you get pleasure from giving yourself and your time to another person, expressing things and expressing another side to you that no one else knows. It's when you can talk about anything, like your worst fears - you can be truly open in a way that you can't be with anyone else."-Dominic Howard

My Muse fandom aside, I believe firmly in what Dom says about love. Trust and love go hand-in-hand. You can't have one without the other.

Granted, I still have a lot of things to learn about love. I'm only 20 years old. I don't know everything. Through my own personal issues, I've learned more than I expected to this semester in terms of that.

When you dont want to go to sleep because reality is finally better than your dreams.

[/cheesy]

When no one makes you laugh the way they do. When you can't stand being away from them, because just seeing their face lights up your day. When you think about the future, you see that person in your future with you. When they're your best friend.

GOD I'm corny.

But it's true.
