Anyone knit? I'm thinking about trying it.

 

I'm fully embracing my motto of "know something about everything, and everything about something"

 

I'm learning all about construction, figure I should try knitting, as something else different and easier. Then I'm going talk to my uncle about helping out at the farm after I finish next semester.

I can knit a coat if that's what you mean by knitting....

My grandmother tried teaching me how to knit once. She's really old and has arthreitis (spelling fail) and I kept forgetting what the steps were so that didn't really work out well. :P

My mother is skilled at knitting, she made the hat I'm wearing right now :nice:

I want to learn and she said she'd teach me properly, but she never has the time.

I used to, but I forgot how. It's actually pretty entertaining once you get the hang of it. :P

I knit! everyone at my college knits... I just finished making myself a scarf.

 

it's harder cause I'm left-handed, though- the person who taught me how to knit had to teach me everything backwards :uhoh:

I had my bestie try to teach me how to knit once. Over an hour later, I was still completely lost. It was a pretty big fail, not gonna lie.

If you're not good at knitting, try crocheting. Just as fun and a lot easier! :lol:

haha yeah there is. But it's a shit saying. I like my motto better. It's more fun. I think that's true if you only know a little bit about everything. I still want to pick one thing to know everything i can about.

One of my friends is pretty skilled at crocheting but knows nothing about knitting :wacky: she's made so many hats haha but she misplaces them so yeah she doesnt have many left :anxious:. I've never tried crocheting but I'm almost done with knitting a sweater. Hmm I'm not very good though so I'll finish it when I go home to my parents for christmas. My mum will have to show me how to knit the last part
