Christmas Lights - Music video (problems)

Featured Replies

Well yeah that happens everywhere now :shame: What a FAIL, haha!

No Christmas Lights video or song download

I am in the U.S. and am getting this message on YouTube about the new video: "This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by IFPI." I also am not able to find the song for download on iTunes. Has anyone heard anything? I tried to search Google for news, but didn't find anything.

Is there no way they could have released a Christmas EP, containing the covers of Christmas songs they've done over the years?

After all, pretty much every other band or singer you could mention has done something like that.

This is SO frustrating. I had to be in a meeting when the song/video were released and was champing at the bit to get back to my computer! Then we had a FREAKING POWER OUTAGE!!! They ended up sending us all home (power was out all over, was lots of fun driving through dead traffic signals!). My house has power luckily -- dashed upstairs to play the video and found that stupid message!

Hopefully they will get it fixed soon.

Meanwhile I've purchased the song from Amazon and will be playing it a LOT tonight!

I downloaded both the song and video from itunes. Do a search on itunes for Coldplay Christmas Lights. Both are there.

Must've been this IFPI on the warpath closing down any videos with COLDPLAY and CHRISTMAS LIGHTS in the title. They didn't get the msg about 8pm...

I bet the emails or phonecalls sent from CPHQ were fun...

Hey Jilliy

I can make you out in the video in your red coat!

I purchased the video from iTunes this evening. It really is one the most stylish videos I have seen in a long time, but then should we expect anything less from opur favourite band?

I'm saving my purchase for the single until week commencing Sunday 12th though - I advise others in the UK to do the same if they want it to be Christmas no 1!

YAY! And I love it. Thanks to those of you who reposted.

Now I've found them and am downloading both via iTunes! Must have been some kind of glitch. Weird ... but THANKS! Can't wait to listen and watch!

hell i cant find the video to download on itunes
