At first it was expensive to get a copy, but now it´s a cheap promo, it´s easy to get on ebay...

 

I hope there will be the same with "Christmas Lights". But, if it´s true that there´s only 100 copies... I can´t forget to bid on a copy... too much expensive for me!

Same with Lovers In Japan. This happens very often. If these we're the only copies eve, we're screwed. But even the Safety EP comes on eBay from time to time

98.4 feedback rating with five negatives in 12 months. Pro seems to be real; wouldn't go for it with this guy, though. Not sure if they changed the rules, but paypal used to require a minimum feedback rating for the non-responsive seller before filing a claim. Can't recall what it was.

I have called EMI. They said there are no promo editions.

The DJ's gets also the digital version.

Me too, but the lack of info legitimately feeds the insecurity about the items validity. If those fortunate to obtain a copy were willing to take a snap shot and share, minimally we can validate it is real and does exist. From there, you said it best, only time will tell the tale of its value.

I don't disagree. Have an email into my Japanese connection. I'm mostly bothered by the lack of a serial. Don't think I have any Japanese promos (including an AROBTTH cassette) without a serial. Doesn't look bad (like that Safety ep), but throws me off a bit. I'll let you know if I hear any info before auction ending.

Can anyone that obtained a copy of the promo Christmas Lights CD email me a photo of the CD top, insert &/or envelope? Not the pop-up, the radio promo.

About the japanese promo, I was thinking: the regular christmas promo doesn't have a catalog n° either, right? So it would be quite 'normal' if this one wouldn't have on either right?

I'm pretty sure the jap one is not genuine. I can bet only on the pop up one and on the promo one. Stop. No other versions. And, let's say this, the j one is really simple to handmake. One of the only printable discs i can be sure it can be genuine is the french what if? promo, not the embossed one, the printable one.

It may be easy to handprint, there have been japanese promo's who look almost exavtly alike, and which were genuine
