Does anyone else have weird food phobias?

Featured Replies

I know this is probably a very odd thread (at the same time, I don't know what classifies as odd in terms of the Lounge-- it's my first time posting in here) but does anyone else have any weird food phobias?

I get laughed at a lot because I get freaked out by the heads/tops of broccoli and can't physically touch them let alone eat them.

So yeah...

phobia? why?

i tried them, didn't like them, i mean i prefer humitas instead.

i have no weird food phobia there are things i can't eat (medical) others that i don't like, but is not like i run away from the room where those are. :uhoh:

because when I was about 6 I had my first (& last)

:bigcry: a minute later I was pucking it out for about 10 minutes..

it was the nastiest thing.

since that day even the smell makes me nauseous..

I'm sure that if I had one now it wouldn't make me sick, but the thought of what happened keeps me from trying them again. :uhoh:

what's humitas?

^ :freak: Seriously?

mayonnaise and cheese , it's so gross ! :freak:

pork ( ever since I saw a documentary in which someone mentioned it resembled human flesh :anxious:)

oh, and rice, I hate it, it makes me litereally sick

Pork, a phobia developed by my religious beliefs

They're disgusting when they grow sprouts. I can't touch them.

I actually hate pork, but I don't really have a phobia of it.

I thought of another food phobia I have; sardines. :|

I used to have a phobia of mayonnaise too, but I think I'm over it now.

Would you hate me if I post a picture of sardine on here? :surprised:

I will be hysterical when I see asparagus. I do not know why, I hate it since I was pregnant the first time.

I just remember, my best friend back in high school doesn't eat rice, because the rice appears to him as living maggots

No, it's mostly the smell that bothers me :|

big pieces of fruit in yoghurt which I haven't put myself in it (which have been put in it in a factory)
