I went to the dentist's a few days ago to get my braces fixed so now my mouth's all sore and sad. I cant chew food properly, hurray. Ouch.

What I want to know is if you keep your eyes opened or closed while you're lying there in the chair trying not to drool on yourself, feeling vulnerable and unattractive. :nice:

 

Personally I'd feel awkward as hell if I kept my eyes opened cause it'd feel like I was in a staring contest or something :thinking:, so I always keep my eyes closed unless the dentist wants to show me something of course. Sometimes it feels like I'm gonna fall asleep haha but that hasnt happened yet.

Both, I guess, I don't take much notice. But if it's scaling, then most probably closed, who wants the fluid to fly into your eyes. :|

i keep them open, even when i went to dentist to get my wisdom tooth removed, i'm brave there :surprised: not in other areas at hospital, though.

 

dentist tend to be chatty, is a bit annoying cause at this moment i can't talk :dozey:

i use to look at some paintings he have on the room, thought i feel fine with just one of the dentists there.

Well I usually just look at the lamp, as others have said, or he also has some Salvador Dali works on the wall as well so those are nice to look at.
