Jamie , I am still floored that you had such a fucking incredible conversation with Chris. The three times I met him last year, I was a total retard. I had a million things I wanted to say, but I couldn't form the words from my lips. I hate myself, lol. So now he thinks I'm a dick head, probably, and I'm really a nice person...lol.

I reckon LP5 will be released as a stand alone album (with it being a concept album) with no singles.......or maybe they will release Track 1 as a single or even a free song......to start us off with the story.......

 

But songs like Wedding Bells will be released as singles to support the tour.

Well , I am glad it won't be on the album, cause if they had to choose, I am glad they did choose Christmas Lights as it is better IMO. And also, it would fill a slot on the album, better that we get a brand new song instead.

At least we have the Apple keynote version. I would have been more disappointed if all we ever heard of Wedding Bells was the clip from the South Bank Show.

i dont think spanish rain, CL, and wedding bells were from the viva era, they started being written before the viva era ended but they were written to be on the LP5....its not like they wait for their tour to end before they start writing songs for the next album just so it all corresponds with the era!:)

I know the song got some mixed reviews, but i thinks its brilliant. When Chris performed it, he said that might be the only time we get to hear it.. But i really hope it makes LP5. Maybe it just needs some fixing.

I LOVED that song, but you can easily get a really good version from youtube, I cut out the audience in the beginning and end of the mp3, and it sounds really good, you wouldn't really notice it was played live. :) WOW, forgot the point of the thread >< I too would love to see it on LP5, but I don't really see it suiting the rest of the new songs so far. I'm sure if it were to be in the album, they'd most likely be able to find a way.

It seemed like it was always popping up.South Bank Show,Apple Keynote,and at the Boogaloo.I think Chris likes the song very much as do I. I really hope a studio version gets released in some way.It would be a shame to see it as a song go to waste.I love the lyrics and melodies in the song.One can hope...
