The Suburbs was a great album, but it was kind of shit comapred to the others.

Mike, you're diluted.

And lol that somebody's biggest disappointment of 2010 was Coldplay not releasing an album. I'm just pissed that tupac is dead and didn't come out with an album this year.

He likes Muse, what can you expect?

ROFLZ at us listening to their Eclipse song last night.

Arcade Fire's The Suburbs.

:shifty:

:p

I found congradulations way too boring and a really bad take on getting that 60's surfer pop feel to an album

I think Congratulations is kind of.... incomplete, it's like they're in the middle of recording session and Andrew went "oh my god we better release this album right now, let's do it" :P

what can i say briggs... i'm as diluted as a cup of water

I LOVE MUSE. MATT BELLAMY'S VOICE IS ANGELIC! :surprised:

There you go, a CP reference for you.

The fact that Radiohead aren't participating in Peter Gabriel's "Scratch My Back" project and that Arcade Fire might not.

There you go, a CP reference for you.

I did that just for you alexa, since you mentioned it before in ustream :P

Back to topic, erm, same, Arcade Fire, and a big one was Heligoland by Massive Attack and Unkle's 2010 album, I didn't bother to learn the name of it.

I guess I've never been a big unkle fan...but I just didn't hear any buzz about them that album this year.

my mum and brother full on got Coldplay to come to Australia (my mum can do those things)

so mum drove me to acer arena and i was going crazy so then we got to

acer arena to find that it was a massive joke and they were faking

the whole thing......

^Wat.

@Briggs: You're not missing much really.

I'm a fan but not as big and the only album I really like (almost all songs) is War Stories. End Titles is good too.

Most of the stuff by Unkle are little remix compilations anyway.

And then you found out racecar spelt backwards is gullible. But it wasn't in the dictionary to confirm your spelling. But luckily it was written on the ceiling.

That you made a completely irrelevant post in this thread and unrelated to the topic, which is about albums that disappointed you, not any fake Coldplay concert experience you had.

And that you are insanely gullible.

Another disappointment....FLAMINGO!

2010 not really produced awesome or great albums. I was hoping from MGMT but it went good only for me, The Arcade Fire also did a good album but still not enough to compare from last 2 albums. Vampire weekend? I dont really fancy this band honestly... Hm... Manic street Preachers' Postcard From A Young Man is a sequel to Journal for Plague Lovers which is really good but not great enough. Beach House third album's Teen Dreams sounds good but sometime can be quite boring. I dont know else because i believe a good album should a good vibes especially the first 30seconds on the first track of the album. hahahahaha!

I still hooked with last-last years albums such as Mando Diao - Give Me Fire, The Decemberists - The Harzard Of Love, No line in the Horizon - U2, COldplay - Viva La vida, Midlake - The courage of others, Camera Obscura - the maudlin career, David byrne - everything that happens will happen today, the killers - day & age, portishead - third and why not last 38 years albums Dark Side Of The Moon, and more but sadly not this year yet, probably Arcade fire - The Suburbs.

2010 not really produced awesome or great albums.

:shocked2: :laugh3: :shocked2: :laugh3:

Mgmt's - Congratulations...Klaxons - surfing the void (but i didn't have high expectations from klaxons to be honest)...Band of horses was a bit dissapointing and Vampire weekend's Contra it wasn't something special (comparing to their debut which was really solid effort).

:shocked2: :laugh3: :shocked2: :laugh3:

Indeed ,the Great albums of the year (Which maybe we'll see them on top of the decade's list)are 4 or 5 not more. The rest 15 for example are just good albums.nothing more, nothing less.
