With albums you can't get where you are: order online, download, or buy off iTunes?

Featured Replies

Just wondering what's most common.

Order online or download

Crap, I should have made the poll where you can vote more than one thing. :P

Maybe I shouldn't have included iTunes either haha.

But anyways, to answer my question, I like to order them online. I ordered two like 15 minutes ago actually. :wacky:

I usually order through HMV if I really want a physical copy. I'd order online if I was getting enough at once to make it cheaper even with the shipping, but that never happens.

When I don't care about the quality so much, I get them off iTunes.

What exactly do you mean by ordering through HMV?

That just makes me think of the $70 Mew cd they have there because they have to bring it in from somewhere else. :|

I got a credit card so now I'll start to order online I guess :awesome:

but I ilegally download most of the music I have at the moment

There are a few albums which for whatever reasons has been released in America but not in the UK, in that way I check to see if anybody has it for sale physically via Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk or e-bay, otherwises I download it.

Again if I can find it available to download legally I try to go down the legal route, but for the cases where the record company is being stupid and not allowing it to be downloaded outside America, it's illegal download for me.

what's the point of downloading it on itunes if they get shit all money from it?

illegally download all the way!!!

I use a video converter for all the songs I get.

find the song on youtube

copy the url

open the video to mp3 website

paste the url in the box

convert

download

drag and drop into itunes library

FIN.

I think the one thing I have against ordering them online is waiting for them to come in the mail, though it's fun too.

ewww

I download those illegally. If I really like an album and want a physical copy, I order it online.. That's usually rather expensive though. :disappointed: And I don't like waiting. :blank:

illegally download all my music like a boss

Used to buy online, but I can get a hold of most of the stuff I want, so it's mostly if I want it cheaper...wait.

I rarely pirate, but if it's a song I'm after I do what Gena said.

the only time when i havent been able to find a CD in stores was the deluxe edition of the Fleet Foxes debut so I ordered it online from a New York store. it kinda gives the album more significance than if i had just bought it from my local record store.

I use a youtube to mp3 converter

the only time I buy music online is when I want a CD album that is impossible to find in stores here
