IT MAKES A LOT OF SENSE releasing the song,they promote the song and album during festivals ( the biggest festivals in the world,and all around the world)

.Plus,they give fans going to the festivals to know the song before ,and then enjoy it live.

 

Plus a comment said "Music distributors have had the single since april"...

Plus someone of Coldplay Staff suggested that yes,they were gonna play something new on festivals.

i assume it will be. i think the reason CL wasn't a physical release was because it was just a sort of one-off thing. it was just the one song and it's not like they released it to promote an album or anything. :shrug:

Good question. It doesn't seem like many singles are being released as a physical copy anymore. :disappointed: The only CD store in my town just closed though so maybe I just haven't seen any lately.

 

PS. I'm assuming you like 24? Cool username. :P

They're sort of moving away from releasing singles on CDs, the only CDs to get are the promo Cds for radio stations. I'd say this will be like Violet Hill, and just be released digitally at first on Monday.

I wasn't either! I figured it would be the typical week of events then a weekend of silence followed by some massive news on Monday or Tuesday! I'm so surprised! I wonder if they will give us an update tomorrow??

I hope we get something tomorrow! Though it is Sunday so chances are sort of slim since I'm sure no one at Coldplay HQ works on Sundays. Maybe they will make an exception though! :wideeyed:
