The band found new artistic directions thanks to the inspirational help of producer Brian Eno. More people than ever before joined in. The Britons' fourth album is the most downloaded album ever – paid downloads, that is. The title track earned them their first #1 at both sides of the Atlantic. The supporting tour went on for about two years and counted 172 gigs on 5 continents. It is not exactly clear what is next. At least we know that there is a new album in the making, since they have once again been spotted in the studio with Brian Eno. ‘Christmas Lights’ is a forerunner, a good-old end-of-year song to close off a wonderful year. They made a guest appearance in The Simpsons, they celebrated the tenth birthday of their debut album ‘Parachutes’ and they are now even an iPhone app.

We have another summer 2011 festival show to tell you about. On Sunday, 3rd July, Coldplay will headline the Main Square Festival at Arras in Northern France. Other acts performing that day include Portishead, PJ Harvey and Elbow. Tickets for the festival cost 69 Euros for one day and 135 Euros for three days. And I've checked the website, they forbid platic bottles at the entrance (hope we could enter with one open....) and you have to buy tickets in advance for food.... :inquisitive: You will get your beverages and foods in exchange of vouchers. These should be soon on sale on the website, in the Tickets section. You will aslo be able to buy the coupons at the desk planned for that purpose on the festival ground (See Acess / Map section) I guess we'll have to go sandwichs hunting the day before and look to where buy them...
