February 5, 201115 yr I'd like to see them do a punk/hard rock song. Y'know with loud guitars and some screaming (but not metal). It's not their style, but I'd like to see them try it, and maybe put it on an EP. They should also do a fun song that people like to sing along too, like yellow submarine. Which is more realistic than doing punk. What would you like to see them do?
February 5, 201115 yr well i personally miss their quiet begin with acoustic and piano., why not be back to it or try blues or more kind of folk. i wouldn't say a no if they try metal, (culturalize there are a lot of kinds of metal not just the weird scremo crap), it would be interesting specially if he guide by some good bands, may be a way to slap them for insulting coldplay cause as other rockers say they are too quiet and good to be rock artists, plus i'd prefer that more than a weird hip hop album, sorry but there are really few hip hop artists that i like. also an only ambient/instrumental/shoegaze album may be cool. all i hope they won't do any reggaeton music song :bigcry: but in general i'd like they evolve as they think is better, whatever they feel like and that is a logical progression and improvement to their style, though i'd like a chronological progression in music in it, that won't happen as anyways they went with the flow of what it was the usual (quiet acoustic, mellow rock, electronical...) at the time.
February 5, 201115 yr I don't know how to explain it, I'd like for them to grow in a natural way for the band, that is, that no matter how innovative their songs are, that you can still perceive the Coldplay print. I'd like them to go back to a more sort of simple sound (but again simple is not the word, accoustic, maybe?) What I'm really sure of is what I would not like them to do, like for example, I would not like them to go rap or too hip-hop-like or as Darlene_Ihnfsa said reggaeton :uhoh:
February 5, 201115 yr Being realistic, I would really like them to give more priority to the bass. I know Guy could so something really great :D Dreaming, I'd like them to do something more like Violins and piano. Something like Sigur Ros or Olafur Arnalds (really great artist if you don't know them :B) but not like VLV something more like an orchestra....
February 6, 201115 yr Techno. LOL JK Um, songs with more bass and more prominent guitar parts and solos.

February 6, 201115 yr THEY SHOULD COLLABORATE WITH ADAM YOUNG AND MATT THIESSEN11111111111111 :| ~*~predictable Crests post of the day~*~
February 6, 201115 yr Abbey Road was The Beatles last album, so these guys better wait a few decades to do something like that :whip: :P Seriously, though, I think it would be kinda weird at the moment, I feel like they could take their music in a certain direction and experiment some more before doing a medley album.
February 6, 201115 yr I'd like to see them team up with a full orchestra and do a song or two. This is kind of off topic. But I always kind of wished they had a quartet or something during VLV tour. It would have added a lot to the atmosphere. Recording is nice, but live is better.

Recording is nice, but live is better. Definitely, although I think they have something against having more people playing on stage, which is fine with me really. However, it would have been nice to have those instruments played live maybe at a special occasion, I don't know, sort of like they did with Politik at the 2003 Grammy Awards or something
February 6, 201115 yr I dont know which stlye but I know i would love to see Chris singing in a lower voice more often though .. Although Chris is quite known for his falsetto and his ability to reach high notes etc ( songs like fix you etc) he has a beautiful lower register that sounds soooooo good ( Yes , christmas lights ) . I think he should use it more often

February 6, 201115 yr I'd love if the next album was a rock-opera. Uhhh... I'd like to see them do a punk/hard rock song. Y'know with loud guitars and some screaming (but not metal). It's not their style, but I'd like to see them try it, and maybe put it on an EP. My lord :cheesy:. Well, not screaming, that would be terrible, but certainly something a bit more 'harder' rock than what they're used to would be an interesting push.

Hence few artists performing live with an orchestra.

I mean something like green day, (in the video I posted), they do an occasional scream, but not so it sounds annoying. Sweet Marianne is their most green day ish song they've done. February 6, 201115 yr Something like this song...This song will be stuck in my head for a loooong time. :P [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G7dL6xNZ1Wk&feature=related]YouTube - U2 Glastonbury New Song 2010 (Xiren Full Band Cover) - Music Video [HD][/ame]
February 6, 201115 yr seeing that many want them more rock and others more orchestral.. i agree they should do some once in life orchestral concerts or something, sure the songs will be super awesome with violins. also they could try symphonic metal instead, you know the sorts of Apocalyptica or Epica, cause will have both.. more rocky and violins? ... thought their recent multi-instrumentalist is good aswell as they are bringing back some unusual instruments, follow that line will be good too. but again i hope whatever they come up with means a progression and some logic to them keeping their known style.
February 6, 201115 yr I like Coldplay as they are, but I would love to get more of this!: [ame= ] [/ame] :awesome:

Well I'm on the punk heavy metal pop dance okay but sometimes it's good yo...
