I don't think this was mentioned yet: Girls Aloud. Say what you will but they had some of the best pop songs of the 2000s.

Both Cheryl + Nadine had two mediocre solo efforts (that's putting it lightly) but Nicola's debut album is very promising. So much that it made my Top Albums of 2011 list.
