to the person who asked if i had complained about the boat video...pretty hilarious. you have a fantastic memory. except when you say "complained" i'll assume you mean expressed disappointment. as at that time i had been eager to do the meet and greet the band spoke about. obviously it was a cool experience and one i won't forget - which i said back then too...

and i'm sorry to anyone who felt the news wasn't that big. i guess i was just pretty excited at having seen what i did. i understand it wasn't anything conclusive.

 

as for the person asking if i saw what i saw...i've been on this forum for three years now without ever having said much "cool" stuff. this is the only scoop (if you could even call it that) i've had.

 

but yeah, it was pretty cool to see everyone. if they were rehearsing then all of their stuff must have been sent to wherever they would be before i got there. i saw boxes and things and a few guitar cases, but it was mostly people seeming to be shuttled off. it certainly makes sense they would be preparing for the shows though. sorry i couldn't offer more than i had. i guess it was just exciting with everything coming up and i felt i would share. and this happened just this afternoon around 4:00 BST.

Btw could topic starter prove it? Any photo from phone? I can't believe you are going to meet your favorite band w/o camera and some stuff for autograph.

 

Maybe he could sense that they were in a hurry and were thus not inclined to bother them with asking for autographs?

Coldplay just before their promotion of their 4th album practiced their show at Wembley Arena where only friends and family were allowed in. It'd be no surprise, with just nearly a week to go before their first live date in Germany that they are doing just that.

 

And I'm not saying they have been going back and forth to Wembley Arena but I don't think Wembley Arena is hosting any shows of any type from the 21st of May till next Monday so it's a free arena at the moment. Something they may be exploiting. Also seeing as Wembley is in North London and I think Coldplay's studios are in North London it is within fairly close proximity surely.

So why they need to practice something they already know....

 

 

Because its been maybe a year or so cept Crisis gigs, they've probaly forgotten, what with getting into recording in the studio. And maybe they're planning older songs which they havent played for years and years. So plenty of reasons to practice.
