OK, I wanna know what exactly Lore said that was so godawful, because from what I've read, she's been pretty reasonable.
June 6, 201115 yr I think what people hate about Coldplay essentially at the beginning of an album is the change. You can never relate VLV to Parachutes for example or X&Y to LP5. Some people hated VLV because it's complete change. I think this is probably why Coldplay is, for me, the best band because you never hear a repetition of albums, it's always something different, I wouldn't stand other bands that do: like the second album is the exact copy of the first.

I'll reply to the first post now because you think I didn't understand it and I clearly did. Never have I been so frustrated with a website. The amount of comments/threads etc I've read in the past day about how much they hate coldplay for making ETIAW and how dissapointed they are and so on and so forth has really made me quite annoyed with most people on this website. So what if some people dislike the song, if you like it that's all that matters. People disliking a song you like = not a smart reason to leave actually. If you don't like the song, great! No need to go bashing Coldplay about it! It may not be anything you expected from them but I think thats a good thing, personally I love the song, I have it on repeat as I'm typing this :) criticism and bashing are not the same thing really :blank: So if you're one of the people that isn't enjoying it, well it sucks to be you! Because everyone who is enjoying it is having a blast listening to new Coldplay! :D good for you and all that people but that doesn't mean that only people who likes the song can post here. 17 million stars for you my friend, you got it bang on. What I didnt put across well was the fact that criticism isnt my issue here, criticism is always welcome, without it, noone would get anywhere in life. This whole message is to the people that were literally just acting like children and bashing the song and not really giving it a good reason except its "shit" I just thought there were people that were being immature and I got a little annoyed, but I've come back and I've read some of the comments here and realised that I don't have to pay attention to the immature haters :P and I can enjoy this website as I did before :) Sorry for any misunderstanding that I caused with what i was trying to say, I'll admit I didnt put it very well.
June 6, 201115 yr ah just checking, I didn't read your opinion anywhere :p really? Well, I hate the lyrics and I think it doesn't sound good with the music. Also I dislike Chris' voice and I think they can do a better pop song than that (Viva is a masterpiece compared to this). I liked the guitar though, I think this will be a good album for jonny from what we've heard so far. Also I didn't really like the live version and all the other songs were way better. I really hope they won't include it on LP5.

June 6, 201115 yr We have the "ignore" feature in here, right? why not using it instead of leaving?. Will make your e-life much easier (and this applies for all those fans unable to stomach some criticism).
