Yeah, I find 'The Bends' to be a wake-up album.

 

'OK Computer' is a any-time album.

 

'Hail to the Thief' is a "Oh man, I just want to listen to some good music"-time album.

 

'Amnesiac' has a time and a place... I don't like it all the time, but when I'm in the mood, it can be the best album ever.

 

'Kid A' is definately a relaxing album. Usually 4 bars into 'Everything In It's Right Place' I'm already drifting off into thought- it's a wonderful feeling.

 

'Pablo Honey' is more of a, "hmm... my friend hasn't heard radiohead, and only likes 'pure' Rock music... I better ease them into Radiohead with something like this"-time album. :P

well.. what i find weird in HTDC is how the echoes of Thom's voice througout the song really do relax , but echoes generally , have a completely opposite effect on me and totally creep me out and make me nervous.

I think it's the second best from Kid A ;) absolutely not boring.

It's a fantastic song. It's just not a fast one. I'd say it's easily the best from Kid A, one of the best songs ever. When the last chorus starts after the '...and huuuricanes' you have to be pretty odd to not feel moved.

The canal+ version is perfect.
