  • Lol I haven't been here in 5 years but I decided to pop my head back in for some nostalgia. Seems like this was my last post so here's an update... I finally saw Radiohead live in Manchester in 2017 a

 wow, i love it when radiohead does things like this, even though we arnt aware what the hell this is going to be yet, haha. takes me back to when the whole IR promo era was in full swing, and they done all those different webcasts such as thumbs down, and the one they done on new years.

example?

Ok. Go through the entire In Rainbows album and every song has lines repeated.

Jigsaw is a good example (don't get me wrong, I love the song).

The Gloaming. No Surprises. Exit Music.

These are just off the top of my head.

it just says to download VLC player.............i dont quite get the webcast hint

It's a cool title because it features the two things you remember most that is, the line "weird fishes!" and of course the constant arpeggi (or arpeggios).

It has 2 titles because they wanted it to have 2 titles :P

Exactly!

deaths_friend, the webcast has now been clarified by another DAS post so it was indeed right...

here's the post off of DAS:

Santa Barbara

Hello! To celebrate the end of a brilliant tour, we're going to webcast the last show here in America. We'll be playing live in Santa Barbara, at the Bowl. It's one of our favourite places to play; I think we've ended tours there before, once even playing a cover of ' cinnamon girl '. It's not too big, in fact it's very intimate, a small arena with a dirt floor, set in pretty countryside. It should be a special night, for lots of reasons, and we're going to try and share as much of it as we can on the webcast. Nigel, our producer, will be helping out getting it to you, so if it goes wrong....It's live!

Thank you so much to everyone who's come and seen us this year; it has truly been the most special and exciting tour for all of us.

Webcast details to follow...

x

from colin's post I hope that they have some surprises, like play songs done few times/not at all this tour (ex. Let Down, The Tourist, Kid A, 4 Minute Warning, DITNU)

well since the concerts in california, what is that, GMT-8? So it's only 7.22 there, they'll probably start in 40 minutes..

I'm so excited

Yes and you must not question the wishes of the 'heads.

:P

aww come on guys. where's everyone?

that was awesome! kind of wished that they played more variety of songs, but it was still great!~

radiohead are the only band in the world who know what their fans want and they give it to us!! hopefully over the next couple of years the rest of the music world will wake up and catch up

Can someone please help me, i don't know whether or not Radiohead is in my favourite bands or not, well i think they good, but then i think other times they not the most interesting of band....how do i tackle this problem???

Goodness, I'm with you on this one. Some of their stuff is excellent, some of it is utter crap.

But I want to like them lol.

Ok Ok. That's all good. Honestly, I'm more interested in the instrument thingo.

Anyone got anything??
