  • Lol I haven't been here in 5 years but I decided to pop my head back in for some nostalgia. Seems like this was my last post so here's an update... I finally saw Radiohead live in Manchester in 2017 a

radiohead are the only band in the world who know what their fans want and they give it to us!! hopefully over the next couple of years the rest of the music world will wake up and catch up

Or maybe Radiohead will wake up and catch up with the music world?

A webcast of a concert, so new and original :shocked2:

<----concert withdrawal since August 25th @ Hollywood Bowl (night 2)

:bigcry::bigcry::bigcry:

(best. concert. ever!!)

edit:

only good video i have from that night (argh damnit...)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fLyeJeVGDYo

AND pics ((sorry, they're not that good...wasn't able to sneak in my better camera and security were being arseholes, like usual))

tell me out of all the big name bands around the world lets say foo fighters U2 chili peppers etc etc. how many of them would have the guts to webcast one (well this is the 4th radiohead one in the past 8months) their concerts?? i honestly cant remember the last time a band has done anything like this for their fans. its about time one of the biggest bands in the world stepped up and forgot about making the most money they can and concentrated on giving their fans the best experience possible. yeh i agree a webcast isnt the most original thing but like i said before how many other huge bands are doing similar things FOR FREE, i would love to know.

wow... you had a great location for the concert... i'm envious you got to get that close to the band

FUCH  i CAN'T BELIEVE I FUCKING MISSED THIS..... SHIT.. FUCKING JOB FUCK.. AND I HAVE TO WAIT TILL MONDAY TO WATCHI IT.. :( i SO WANTED TO SEE IT LIVE

awww it was pretty good! No major surprises set-list wise (except perhaps Cymbal Rush and Talk Show Host), but it was a really good gig. The sound quality of the stream was exceptional. There are loads of links floating around on ateast if you wanna download it.

i'm downloading a torrent from atease ... i hope it works out.

Gosh this was webcasted on the most inconvenient day.

yeh the time was horrible for European and UK fans. but then u have to consider the timings of their first three webcasts all of which were perfect for UK and Euro but horrible for asia and australia. so this one was for the rest of us

Yeah ... but that's not what I meant.

That day I wasn't at home so I could watch it .... IF there was a thing called internet :(

Bloody hell! I freaking missed this! Grrrr! :(

Nina, would you mind telling me if the torrent works or not, once it finishes? I might want to download it. Or if someone knows of some proper videos of the concert on youtube that they can post. That would be great!

Only 6 more shows until the In Rainbows tour ends

I wonder if they will get back into the studio to do LP8 sooner rather than later

sooner... i read somewhere on atease that they are going to go back in the studio i think right after they play in japan

^^

it would be much better news if they announced some extra dates in aus and south america. but people should realise that In Rainbows was nothing more than a compilation of tracks they had performed live over the last decade but hadn't had the chance to record properly so its really no surprise that the boys are ready for LP8

yeah and that was a great video too! nice shots of thom dancing :D

no, after the tour they are making an unplanned appearance in my backyard

i shot front row

Not true.

They will play some dates early next year.

Ed recently said that they'd tour South America early 2009.

Not sure if they will play anywhere else though. Maybe.

Where can i see the whole webcast?!

I try to find a link tomorrow and see the whole thing. I can't download torrents..

yea i only caught the end of the webcast cause i was watching obama's speech so if anyone could find a link to it i would reallyyyy appreciate it!
