The past few songs I've written have been inspired by U2's Achtung Baby :nod:

I have a guitar part to go with it but I don't know whether to use it for this song or another song I will post in a little bit.

Yeah, I'm doing well! I've been drawing a lot lately, but haven't come up with very many drawing wort keeping...

I should get back to writing some poems, but my brain is not being very helpful because every time I try to write, my mind goes blank. :\

And that's pretty much all that's been going on for me lately.

Thanks! :D I just kinda feel a little weak not having a proper realistic style, yet. I mean, I can do the basics, but it's just that. Cartoons are easy, I think, but maybe that's just because I've done 'em for . . . Forever.

I have a really hard time with cartoons. Especially if I'm not copying a picture. I always do better when copying that creating something new.

That's what I did for the longest time! I started in middle school with anime/manga (like most kids) and loved cartoon shows and comics and I drew characters from those kinds of things. I mixed and matched styles until I kinda created my own and now I struggle with realism. I'm doing reverse practice right now, doing more realistic cartoons (Marvel heroes and Thief of Thieves characters from Image comics) and moving up.

 

May I suggest you start with that stuff if you wanna cartoon and then move your way into more cartoon-y characters?

Happy Bday :). You share the same bday as my mom (or mum, lol). Luckily I was able to orchestrate a nice surprise happy birthday thing for my mom today along with a nice chocolate cake. She got embarrassed, which wasn't really what I was aiming for, but I'll take it lol. Usually my ideas suck terribly and end up all flawed and never work, but this one went well for once. Family going out to dinner this weekend for her official present type of thing.

 

Any highlights for your bday you want to share?
