This is sorta off-topic, but I played The Scientist at a talent show a few years ago with some friends, and it was pretty awesome.

It was really fun, but it was all disorganized and thrown together at the last second so it wasn't as good as it could have been. (We did get third place though)

I know man. I'd love to play piano for some coldplay songs. Id sing if I had to but rather not haha. Shitty thing is my brother plays guitar but he hates coldplay and won't learn any of their material.

I'd love to get together with friends and play Coldplay songs, but I'm not confident enough to do it for a talent show. Most people at my school hate Coldplay

It seems like Coldplay has such a stigma attached to it, kinda what was discussed a few days ago on the thread about it being "gay" or whatever.

Yep, and tbh I think id be ok playing in a talent show depending on what we were playing. If it was the scientist I think I'd be game, I've played that song literally hundreds of times. Also, if you're comfortable on stage with who you are with, that also helps

Off topic, but Ghost Story is probably my favorite song from GS. It's an old school Coldplay heart break song

Agreed. It could easily come off as another track from the Prospekt's March EP.

I think it's extremely fashionable to hate coldplay, and very hipster to do so because of it being mainstream, and the musical egotists can't have any of that.

I've found that people who hate Coldplay generally haven't heard more than Clocks and Paradise, which really irks me

I get ragged on for loving coldplay but I don't give a shit. Haters' gonna hate lol

Listening to my Interactive Rock Box, sometimes you hear Coldplay and sometimes you get some weird crap on there and can swear they are drunk or something lol anyway thats what you get for delving in my Interactive Rock Box...today has not been so bad its just beginning..its a giant shame that you dont get that over there but you can tune in and listen its 96fm.com.au its a great listening...

Have to go now got a great lunch prepared for me and gotta chat with my daughter, about how big giant we both are as well...
