August 17, 201114 yr I'm not much of a remix guy but the Lone one is pretty good. Morning M'lord (the guitar version) is great, but otherwise I agree. I miss when Radiohead released videos and singles instead of remixes. Morning M'lord was ok, but the actual = :toilet: The best from tkol is Bloom imo
August 17, 201114 yr Wait, isn't Pichfork the hipster site? You know, they rate new indie bands highly and once they get "too popular" they do a total turnaround? :P I chose 6.1-7.0.
August 17, 201114 yr I find it amusing how this thread has turned all Radiohead-y. And if y'all are going to go there... The Daily Mail FTB > all of TKOL. imho. On the original topic... it's hard to say, not knowing what the final tracklist will be. Based on the songs we've heard so far, I'd say Pitchfork (not me) would give it maybe a 5.7 if ETIAW is not on it. If ETIAW is on Mylo Xyloto... maybe they'd give it something like 3.4.
August 17, 201114 yr Yeah like giving Kanye a 10.0 even though he is too popular. Well Kanye was being a unique gangsta yeeeaa. But seriously, it was a good album.
August 17, 201114 yr I find it amusing how this thread has turned all Radiohead-y. And if y'all are going to go there... The Daily Mail FTB > all of TKOL. imho. The Daily Mail +Supercollider +The Butcher +Staircase.........>TKOL
August 17, 201114 yr The Daily Mail +Supercollider +The Butcher +Staircase[/size].........>TKOL Oh yeah I forgot about The Butcher, that's frickin' awesome also. Not really into Supercollider though. Staricase is okay. btw I got one of the [rare] mislabeled Supercollider/Butcher vinyls :wacky:
August 17, 201114 yr Oh yeah I forgot about The Butcher, that's frickin' awesome also. Not really into Supercollider though. Staricase is okay. btw I got one of the [rare] mislabeled Supercollider/Butcher vinyls :wacky: I only downloaded them , I got them practically leaked the day they were released :D
August 17, 201114 yr I love that Radiohead has hi-jacked this thread. btw maybe I'm responsible for several hi-jacked threads like this one :D I love Radiohead and Keane and Muse and Snow Patrol and Arcade Fire
August 17, 201114 yr btw maybe I'm responsible for several hi-jacked threads like this one :D I love Radiohead and Keane and Muse and Snow Patrol and Arcade Fire Keane, Snow Patrol and Muse are not fit to be mentioned in the same conversation as Radiohead.
August 17, 201114 yr Keane, Snow Patrol and Muse are not fit to be mentioned in the same conversation as Radiohead. :blank: and Arcade Fire does?
August 17, 201114 yr Doesn't kanye just rap about how awesome he thinks he is..? If you think that, you totally didn't get what My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy was about.
August 17, 201114 yr Keane, Snow Patrol and Muse are not fit to be mentioned in the same conversation as Radiohead. Radiohead are the best. Not my personal favorite, but the most quality.
August 17, 201114 yr  I miss when Radiohead released videos and singles instead of remixes. Morning M'lord was ok, but the actual = :toilet: The best from tkol is Bloom imo Bloom is good, real killer. The Butcher is the best of the bunch, though.
August 17, 201114 yr I love that Radiohead has hi-jacked this thread. Why are you surprised? It's a thread about Pitchfork.
August 17, 201114 yr Author Why are you surprised? It's a thread about Pitchfork. Just waiting for Odd Future, Wilco, and Kanye to hijack it next.
August 18, 201114 yr My guess is something like 4.3. Some predictions on the review: They are going to quote (and make fun of) lyrics from ETIAW. They are going to make fun of their new 'look'. They are going to make fun of song titles. They are going to bring up plagiarism (re: ETIAW and possibly Up With The Birds).
August 18, 201114 yr Keane, Snow Patrol and Muse and Arcade Fire are not fit to be mentioned in the same conversation as Radiohead. FTFY.
August 18, 201114 yr :blank: and Arcade Fire does? Um...yes. Funeral is one of the best albums of the 00's, (possibly ever) and Neon Bible and The Suburbs aren't too shabby either.
August 19, 201114 yr If the King of Limbs got a 7.9, Coldplay is in trouble :p I love Pitchfork but I wish they'd stop putting scores on their reviews. It's such an arbitrary and confusing system, and it distracts from the reviews themselves. Kill Screen just stopped scoring games and I think it's a much better way of doing things.
