Woohoooo go Edddd! Too bad cant see him live this year. But I was pretty happy seeing him on BBC Red Button last week though, he was a pure genius!

Ed Sheeran was the Star In a Reasonably Priced Car in the latest Top Gear episode.

You can't "win" Top Gear :) It's called Star In a Reasonably Priced Car. You get interviewed and you drive around a track and set a laptime in a small car. Sheeran's time was the second slowest but still impressive given that he'd literally never driven before. :)

Ed Sheeran reveals his Coldplay inspiration

 

 

Ed Sheeran's career has been inspired by Coldplay.

The 'Thinking Out Loud' hitmaker has revealed the band's lead singer, Chris Martin, and their albums 'Parachutes' and 'A Rush of Blood to the Head' have been critical to his albums '+' and 'X'.

He told BBC Radio 2: "I think Chris Martin is really interesting.

"I based the first half of my career off Coldplay. + is my Para chutes and X my Rush Of Blood so ... the next album will be X&Y."

Ed, 23, recently revealed he didn't do his school homework because he was busy trying to make music.

In an extract from his new book 'Ed Sheeran: A Visual Journey', which is published in the Daily Mirror newspaper, he says: "I was not stimulated by school whatsoever.

"In almost every lesson I thought, 'This is pointless. What am I going to do with Biology or Chemistry?' I was sure that I could find a job in music.

"I could make tea at Island Records or be a studio hand, or I could end up being a songwriter.

"I didn't do homework and I remember not turning up to school for a long time. I had a lot of detentions and suspensions, which didn't go down well."

^ OMG HAHAHAHA I'm listening to one of his songs called Addicted. His song yes awesome, his voice omg! So youngish like 14 year olds who barely falls in love for the first time in like junior highs :lol:. But his taste of music though is really something, which I love :heart:

Yeah me too. I guess George is placed as the third after Sam Smith. He, George and Ed are my top favorites so I literally cant choose one for the winner though!

His performance last week on Global Citizen was beyond incredible. I was so excited when he and Chris finally sang Thinking Out Loud together. I had a giggle when Chris was not able to remember the lyrics very perfectly, but thats okay I forgive him :P

 

I hope Chris and Ed can collaborate again one day, or probably make a new song together :D

I went to see his movie Jumpers for Goalposts. I enjoyed the whole show even though I don't know all his songs. The only one I sang was Thinking Out Loud, I love it it's my favorite song. Hope he comes to Mexico because now I want to see a live concert.

Awesome! Guess I have seen his new movie trailer but I havent really followed up with his news yet. It sounds like another new excitement :D
