Indianapolis Colts just hired the Baltimore Ravens Defensive Coordinator as their new head coach. Irsay has said for a while that he wants a more balanced team. What a great hire this is! I am very happy right now!

What I think the Colts should do this offseason:

 

1. Release Peyton Manning

2. Let Reggie Wayne walk in FA

3. Resign Robert Mathis to a 1 - 2 year deal

4. Draft Luck #1 overall then with 2nd round go DE/OL/TE/WR

to be honest i think they (colts, irsay) should have made peyton head, i mean...why wouldnt you put him as head, hes got the experince of being on the field, and he could train/coach luck, plus he could add something to his list of accomplishments, and do something none of the other mannings have done or will ever do. Hopefully next year the saints get the super bowl curse *evil laughs* :laugh3:

The Colts getting Bruce Arians of the Steelers is just another indicator IMO that Manning wont be back next year. Luck fits Arians mold for O a lot better than Manning. You have to remember Arians O revolves around Ben being able to move around the pocket and last time I checked Manning doesnt run around.

manning might not be back, this is what happens when you build a franchise on a QB...at least i remember the good ol' days when Marvin Harrison played, we won like every game....even tho i was like 5 or 6 then, i even remember going to the dome, damn time flys...

I don't have a horse in this race, though I rather see NE lose. I will say that I think it will be no more than 10 points either way. Commentators emphasize how the pats have the worst defense ever to make a super bowl. What they don't mention is how the giants D is only two places better in the stats. So expect the opposite of the BCS championship, though unlike most Americans, I prefer a good defensive battle to a shoot out.
