Ik heb nagedacht over een leuke opvallende actie tijdens een van de nummers in Nederland. Ben erg onder de indruk van de Italiaanse fanclub. Zullen we in Nederland ook iets doen? Chris vraagt vooral bij Charlie Brown om actie: jumpen, meezingen. Wat vast een erg leuk effect is daarbij is het laten flitsen van je mobiel op de muziek.

 

Dat kan met de gratis APP Partylight en dan instellen op RAVE 3.

 

Rond 15 december moet dit dan ook vooral getwitterd worden.

 

Wat vinden jullie ervan?

De armbandjes die ze bij de europese tour gaan uitdelen zijn nog veel leuker dan het lichteffect op je telefoon met de APP "Partylight". Ze knipperen mee op de muziek. Ze zijn op het concert in Madrid ook gebruikt. Denk er wel om dat je van de 3 standen de goede stand instelt. Maar bij het nummer Charlie Brown dus iets anders ??

Question: I heard the concert will start at 20:00h.. Do they mean that Emeli Sandé will perform at that time? Or Coldplay??

It usually means that the support act will start at 20:00h =)

Doors will probably open around 18:00/18:30h

Yeah it'll be like that. With Muse it said the concert started at 18:30, which was when Ghinzu (first support) came on. Muse were about 21:15.

With Arcade Fire in Amsterdam this year e-ticket said 20:00, which was when support act Austra came on - AF on around 21:15.

 

For Coldplay it's probably Emeli Sande 20:00-20:45 and Coldplay 21:15 too!

Let's hope they'll play a new 100 minute set or so. Starting at 21.15, till 23.00!

 

I would be really disappointed if they played the same, short festival set.

Pretty early I guess. It's on a Saturday, so it's a day of for the most of us. In Nijmegen we were there at 13.00, the gates opened at 15.00 and then we waited until 21.00 for Coldplay to come on. But, as you can see on my avatar, we had front row places!

In Ahoy 2008 I arrived around 14:30 and got in the second row.

They had fences on the three standing entrances and they put red/white tape when these fences were filled. They first let them in and then the rest.

 

Hope I'm sorta clear, hard to explain ^^

I can remember that there are 3 entrances for the standing area(the middle 3). The two on the outsides are for the seating area.

 

I'm at the seating area, so luckily I'll be able to get there just before 20:00 ;)

Shame I won't be able to meet up with you lot though.

Thanks for the info. We got stuck in traffic in Nijmegen so I ended up at about 100m from the stage. :dozey: Don't want that again.

The extra tickets sold out pretty quickly. I knew about it because of this tweet.

Hope they are going to play Swallowed in the Sea and/or A Rush of Blood to the Head. They probably won't but maybe some of the other older songs from the previous albums that they haven't played for a while would be great :)
