White shadows live was apalling.

Why Chris decided to sing the chorus in falsetto I will never know.

Ruined it.

I love white shadows, never thought much of the live version though!

White shadows :wacky: I LOVE THIS SONG. But the same epic feeling came from the live version of Lovers in Japan me thinks :dance:

White Shadows is a good song, but not one of their best and it doesn't hold the Coldplay feeling imho. Didn't quite do it live. I'm annoyed by the Bono-like performance by Chris too.

 

So what's your point making a thread like this? We know you're nostalgic, we know you hate the new stuff, I don't like it either. But please stop making such a fuss about it all the time.

White Shadows and Low live at glastonbury made me buy X&Y and then the rest of the albums after X&Y was released, turned from liking Coldplay to a massive fan and have never looked back since then, White Shadows is epic!!! :)

Ah yes, I saved this on my PC along time ago just because I was and still am absolutely stunned by that intro...
