trinest
I shit you not, U2 didn't play With or Without You in one of their 360 gigs. Their second Zurich gig in 2010. Well the 360 tour was about No Line on the Horizon enititally then it became basically a general tour. And besides, Vertigo is the "they can't not play it" song. birdman987
I don't know, that show was pretty far into the tour. And I HATE Vertigo, I can understand why some people don't like them based on that one song.
trinest
I feel Magnificent might over take Vertigo as they make more albums.
birdman987
I'd much rather remember them for Magnificent than Vertigo. Although I reckon Streets is more the 'staple' U2 song.

trinest
LOL :D I know, what should U2's set list have been at Glastonbury?! Well I just looked at what the set list was (http://www.u2tours.com/detail.src?ID=20110624) seemed to consist of heaps of their old stuff. Personally I think they should play stuff which featured on their older albums. The Electric Co., Gloria, New Year's Day (does that really feature much at concerts?) etc. Some stuff from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medium,_Rare_%26_Remastered would be good too. Oh and Pride. I appreciate it if they'd add... any song they barely play. Just change the setlist more often boys! :bomb:

Mate, u2gigs.com is where it's at. http://www.u2gigs.com/show1718.html Much, much better site. Electric Co is awesome, although I like it with The Cry. New Year's Day gets a fair bash. I saw them play it at one of their Sydney shows. I'm a big fan of Party Girl from that album. I think they did alright, generally. I saw Bad live at their first Sydney show. I screamed like a gypsy when the opening synth started playing.

I just googled the URL, didn't particularly look for it. I went to their 360 tour in Sydney last year, was pretty good. Yeah The Cry version I favor as well. Mark
Well the 360 tour was about No Line on the Horizon enititally then it became basically a general tour. And besides, Vertigo is the "they can't not play it" song. Vertigo is nowhere near as popular as Still Haven't Found, Streets, With Or Without You, Sunday Bloody Sunday or Pride for me. As for dropping The Scientist... :shocked2: What you have to remember is that Coldplay are so huge and have so many favourites that they can't play Everything's Not Lost for one crowd, then drop it for Warning Sign the gig after. It's unfair to the crowds. When the MX tour comes round, things will likely change, but it won't be a different setlist every night, obviously. trinest
I meant which Syd show were you at. Oh the first one, I think it was on a Monday or something and the next one was the one they added on Tuesday or something. I had seats though cause I was with my dad, but they turned out to be pretty good cause they where over our side heaps. My brother also went with his gf and was in the less populated side, they where pretty much under bono all the time.
Alien Radio
They could play some B-sides.:)
Strawberry Swinger
I don't know, I just want them to change the setlist a bit more. Take freaking Radiohead, they have 8 albums and they play almost ALL of their songs, their setlist is NEVER completely the same.Lazy Coldplay and Muse... OK, the songs I would want them to play (including the ones that they are most likely to not drop) ... parachutes: don't panic, shiver, spies, yellow, trouble arobtth: all of it x&y: square one, talk, x&y, the hardest part, twisted logic vlv: lit2, cemeteries, lost, lovers, yes (yeah right), viva, death never gonna happen tho... Cleggy
I think they have a pretty good setlist already, but I hope they change it up a bit for the tour. Although I would love it if they swapped LIFL with Amsterdam. LIFL is a great closer but I think Amsterdam is even better. I have no idea why they don't play it anymore, it's a definite fan favourite.
MosesTheMarshmallow
Is Amsterdam really a fan favourite? I thought it was one of those songs only us CPers liked or even knew about.
