I always thought Will was doing the back vocals.

It's a female, not Will. The boys have said that there was another singer (female) singing on one of their songs so I'm guessing this is it. 'Cause I don't hear any other female on the record beside PoC and here.

I think you're over complicating it.

 

"Show or feel" doesn't make sense because you're not going to show pain if you don't feel it anyway. Maybe I'm just stupid. If they say they're the official lyrics, they must right.

They make perfect sense to me. Anyway why are you nitpicking over such a tiny detail? Just forget it and enjoy the song! :P
