LoryABjerre
is not the same atheism and agnosticism http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atheism http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agnosticism According to Richard Dawkins, a distinction between agnosticism and atheism is unwieldy and depends on how close to zero we are willing to rate the probability of existence for any given god-like entity. Since in practice it is not worth contrasting a zero probability with one that is nearly indistinguishable from zero, he prefers to categorize himself as a "de facto atheist". He specifies his position by means of a scale of 1 to 7. On this scale, 1 indicates "100 per cent probability of God." A person ranking at 7 on the scale would be a person who says "I know there is no God..." Dawkins places himself at 6 on the scale, which he characterizes as "I cannot know for certain but I think God is very improbable, and I live my life on the assumption that he is not there", but leaning toward 7. About himself, Dawkins continues that "I am agnostic only to the extent that I am agnostic about fairies at the bottom of the garden."[40] Dawkins also identifies two categories of agnostics; Temporary Agnostics in Practice (TAPs), and Permanent Agnostics in Principle (PAPs). Dawkins considers temporary agnosticism an entirely reasonable position, but views permanent agnosticism as "fence-sitting, intellectual cowardice." Empily
I've not been brought up around religion nor felt the need to seek guidance from jesus or God or an equivalent. I'm not sure if I believe in some sort of deity, I don't tend to even give thought to it in my daily life tbh So I guess atheist

Wyrd
athiest, but not a dick to other religions like most athiests on the internet! Here you say something! I know indeed fellow atheists who are way too occupied with spreading the word of how stupid religious people are according to them. They actively look up forums to vent about how stupid believers are and they also hurt their friends on facebook with posts about this. Regarding atheists I found an interesting quote: In fact, "atheism" is a term that should not even exist. No one ever needs to identify himself as a "non-astrologer" or a "non-alchemist." We do not have words for people who doubt that Elvis is still alive or that aliens have traversed the galaxy only to molest ranchers and their cattle. - Sam Harris:\

Wyrd
...or be part of an atheistic religion. Then it is b) otherwise there would also be an option of ...or be part of a theistic religion, but that's part of a). Non? Or do you mean Scientology? ;)
LoryABjerre
Scientology for my part is bad horror of devil I prefer believe in Jesus as fish cult of a fish is much better http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ichthys in french is Ichtus http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ichtus Scientology sect is to steal money from people and brainwashing and say that if there is God. humans is smarter than God and the humans is God. therefore have no feeling. So against nature, human being, love, or the conseption of life and others. that's all these people I see in my life. They kill me every day. to build on their materialism and selfishness. one thing that disgusted me . example Travolta left to die when his son because of a sect . An example of this horrible sect. people Scientology have no greatness of soul or heart feeling believe me. and it's very rare that I criticize. be killers . I am pagan/Christian but the gods or religion is just God. I think there is a divine power is something that governed the universe. I've seen more things unexplained by science. Ambergris
I used to be Catholic but now I'm a Christian How is that even possible? You're probably confusing some important terms there. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christianity Is Mother Nature a religion? Normally, I would consider myself Agnostic, which is not really a religion but a position in life. Though Catholics are Christians, not all Christians are Catholics...so I see what she's saying.
