I was listening to Moving to mars really wish it was on the album...but oh well. Got bored one day thought I will make a music video so I called up a friend to walk around and look pretty. Would love if you guys checked it out. let me know what you think.

It looks really professional. Can't say I'm not disappointed that it wasn't filmed in space, but your friend more than makes up for that.

Cool video, very well done. :) But why on earth did you have to go and cut the song the way you did? :(

Very professionally done! Here are my good points:

 

- I love the different camera angles and the use of the zoom

- Nice colouring on the video overall, makes it look all dreamy and wonderful

- Love the cutting from 1:33-1:40

 

What I don't like that much:

 

- Why did you cut the song in the middle? That was not a very nice move :/

- I hoped for a little bit more variation in the video apart from walking around in the forest and touching stuff

Just cause it looks professional, it's not good. it's terrible. there's no story to it, there's no point to it. Coldplay have some weird music videos, but theirs make sense + they're fucking awesome! this just sucks. If I wanted to see a girl walking around the woods... well to be honest, i don't.

song is more beautiful than the girl, no offence.

Can't argue that it looks very well made (Good Camera angles, Color, quality, close-ups) just.. the entire beginning of the song (about 1 min 30 secs in) I thought the video was building up to something, then when the chorus hit and you showed the numerous forests clips, I thought something intense was coming up (Like the girl running through the forests, or at least the camera moving through the forest very fast) Didn't happen, kinda dissapointed me a little :( But it is a very nice video overall.

Ah a steadicam, good! I really like your style, if you're planning to make more Coldplay music videos (or music videos in general), I'd love to see them :)

And for a rushed up video I find this rather impressive!

The only flaw is cutting the final part of the song,cuz it is the best, but keep up the good work! Hope you make some more videos that look as pro as this one.

Coldplay have more of a budget, more time and more on the line. As this guy said, he did this with his mate for a day. There's constructive criticism, and being a dick, and you're being the latter with your review.
