I like OTD. It's the beginning of Coldplay.

^ It is a beautiful song meant for acoustics ruined savagely by a very messy upbeat style. The live version on Leftrightleftrightleft defined this piece. The original studio version, however, ruins this song and X&Y in general for me. How sad, it's my favourite album, other than the fact that this song is on it. That makes Mylo Xyloto my favourite album.

Fair enough! I love both versions. The contrast between the quite, live version and the upbeat album version is great. It's amazing how the lyrics still work well for the slower rendition!

The selection of singles from X&Y was such a fail. :thinking: I'd go with:

Speed Of Sound

Fix You

Talk

White Shadows

Square One

 

I know they don't like releasing a lot of singles, but I'd even add:

A Message

Till Kingdom Come

And Politik and Cemeteries Of London deserved to be singles and have videos. :shame:
