Well, I just didn't want to sound arrogant. I feel like I tend to sound that way a bit when I talk about my musical abilities. :disappointed: Actually, in general, I don't really care to talk about myself that much because other people are so much more interesting than I am. Who am I? I'm Violet, and I'm a 21-year-old music education major. BOOM. That pretty much covers my life. Other people have much more elaborate lives, y'know?

I can relate to what you're saying (I feel quite mundane, compared to others) but I still think you're a really interesting person. :hug: And sometimes for me, I find it a little easier to relate to people a little more "ordinary" like me (not in a bad way!).

Dude! I have the same problem! To be fair, I think part of my problem is the fact that I'm VERY self-conscious about my voice. Remember how I was worried about how I sounded when talking? Take that, multiply it by 10, and you have what I think of as I sing. Actually, if I were to sing anything, it'd be the first time I'd ever publically sang for a group of people. :freak:
