So, I'm really sad. :sad: Yesterday was my band chapter championships, and we practiced for hours before it, so I was really tired by the time I got to the concert. For some reason, my tiredness affected my memory and I barely remember the details of the show. :bigcry: :freak: Or maybe it was because I was high on life. :P :shrug:

 

Anyway, I took lots of pictures and videos (most of which are shit) but I got the whole of Citizen Erased on video. :awesome:

 

Unfortunately, you can hear my godawful singing in most of my videos. :embarrassed: I'll upload the pics and videos once my gigantic amount of homework is done.

Everything was amazing, my favs were probably Uprising, Map, Citizen Erased, USoE, Feeling Good, TIRO, and PiB. :awesome:

 

So I thought our seats were going to be awful, but they weren't too bad once I got over the fact that Muse were mini looking and there was a time delay between seeing Dom's drumming and hearing Dom's drumming. :lol:

 

 

 

Metric was really good, but their sound was off and because of that I couldn't understand Emily at all. :sad: </3

It happened at the Staples Center in Los Angeles during Uprising. When the curtains fell down, Matt's curtain snagged onto his guitars. I'm guessing someone tried to pull the curtain off the guitars, and then the guitars went tumbling off the tower.

 

 

It happens from 2:48 to 2:53.

 

I think it's kinda ironic that after all the times Matt has chucked his guitar (at Dom), smashed it, crushed it into an amp, it ends up dying by falling off a tower. :tongue:

 

He has a new one, though.

Of course, most of us were too focused on Chris's curtain to pay any attention to Matt's, as Chris was still covered by the entire curtain until the first chorus of Uprising. We gave him a standing ovation once it finally got pulled off (it kept dangling and getting caught on the corners; funny as hell), but only a select few folks far over on Matt's side could see what was happening to poor Glitterati and company. I didn't find out it was permanently dead until recently, though.

 

Rumor has it Matt got pissed off and that's what sent him into the riff frenzy at the end of the show, but I'm not sure how much validity that claim has.

Probably, that's what usually happens what Matt get's pissed off. :lol: Like in OoS/Absolution era when he smashed all his equipment, was because he was pissed off. At least, that's what I've read in an interview.

If that's the case, I guess all those crazy riffs were a good way to let it out. Poor Matt. And Glitterati.

Its all done, so as soon as the dvd menu arts finished along with the cover then i can get it out there, hopefully it shouldnt be long because whos making the art is very busy atm, but he's brilliant with cover designs etc so it will be worth waiting for.
