  • I've been a Muse fan for a couple of years now. I liked a couple of their hits but then a friend invited me to come with him to a Muse concert with him in 2013. The live experience was amazing and I h

Oh. OK then. Have at him.

OMG ... I was there and I was singing along and gesticulating like mad.

It's the ultimate cheese song, but it's so damn good live.

i know u were there:uhoh2:

im jealous of u meeting coldplay and then going to both muse show:veryangry2:

:p

yep, this is the cheesiest song but i just saw this video and realized that it sounds amazing live :shocked2:

There are two things in this world I can never resist:

A) Bad puns

B) Bad puns involving Neutron Star Collision

Case in point:

^ Me neither. It's OK. We can not eat Brie together.

Our loooove will be like cheeeeddaaaar

And we'll nooooot eat Brie toooogeeetheeer

:escaping2:

Neutron Star Collision live is a lot more fun than Guiding Light live. Trust me, I've gotten both (but thankfully not at the same show). That's not to say NSC is a good song - it really isn't - but mocking it is seriously half the fun. People hate it, but it's fun to hate.

Guiding Light, on the other hand, just plain sucks and will die out once Muse releases its equally cheesy replacement on the next album.

Someone on .mu changed all the lyrics to NSC to reflect cheese. :P

I've always loved NSC, and Guiding Light has grown on me.

They're obviously not Muse's best songs, but they both have some good things about them and they're both really catchy. :wacky:

I'm a fan of cheese.

NSC looks fun live.

Guiding Light is just boring. Although the streamers make it a tad better.

^GL is just weird sometimes and matt thinks its made to be played in huge concerts and god hes so wrong:rolleyes:

but NSC(love is forever) is nicer live its even better live then UD:uhoh2:

all muse love song are cheesy:rolleyes:

he just writes that way:shrug:

Tbh, when I went to see Muse, I was kind of looking forward to Guiding Light.

Not complaining that CE replaced it, of course. :sneaky:

But I like GL because it's kind of uplifting and romantic. :wacky:

And if they had streamers (do they for arena gigs?) I wanted to eat one like that guy on the Muse forum.

Haha, I saw that thread. He literally tired everything to get rid of the taste.

^did he come back or has he died

god the board really had fun on his eating the streamer:laugh3:

Not sure where the guy went.

Haha, yeah, there were loads of lolz from that.

The streamers were only for the stadium shows.

A few of my friends licked the Plug In Baby confetti, which tastes like a battery. I was offered a piece but resisted. But it was totally hysterical watching everyone's faces when they were licking it. :laugh3:

Oh I see. :p

What did he do to get rid of the taste? :P

i just hope that guy did survive the MUSE streamers attack:laugh3:

That was so epic!

I hope the guy is okay though. :anxious:

Oh, I forgot to mention! At Newark, I couldn't stop laughing at Matt's hair.

Looked like some bad bedhead to me! :P

Some parts were a bit :wtf: but most of it was gold.

The Gliteratti part made me sad (RIP Gliteratti :cry2:) but I hadn't seen any vids of the power going out and that was funny!

This is so off-topic, but CHRISTINA I FLIPPED OUT WHEN I SAW YOUR AVI. :freak: I'm so obsessed with Sherlock, it's not even funny.

Uh . . . right, Muse related post . . .

I watched half of the Hullabaloo DVD on Saturday! Saving the rest for later. I don't know why, but it kind of felt like I was watching a slightly different band. Maybe it's only because I haven't seen that many of Muse's pre-Absolution performances, but Hullabaloo seemed so raw and gritty. Or that could just be because of the songs themselves. It was pretty interesting to watch it and compare it with the Muse we know today.

The Dead Star performance made me quite dizzy. And I wanted to yell at Matt for standing on the piano.

EDIT: Oh, and the Hullabaloo performance is great. The boys sound, well, awesome.

Haha thanks! :wacky: Me too; I've only seen the first three episodes though. :awesome:

I wish I had Hullabaloo DVD! :wideeyed:

I see what you mean; it's VERY different from modern Muse. . .

I've only watched a few performances of it. :disappointed:

I've watched the entire Absolution Tour DVD late at night on my iPod via their website though! :wacky: Love that piano! :awesome:

I love it so much! And Benedict Cumberbatch. I haven't seen the third episode yet, but I'm saving it for this Friday. Gah, can't wait. :bomb:

There are only three episodes, but they're planning to make a second season, which should premiere in the UK next year.

Aw, that's okay! I still have yet to really sit down and watch the Absolution Tour DVD all the way through. :uhoh:
