  • I've been a Muse fan for a couple of years now. I liked a couple of their hits but then a friend invited me to come with him to a Muse concert with him in 2013. The live experience was amazing and I h

I literally swooned when I saw that picture. Oh Dominic Howard why are you so, so, so adorable? And why is no one in uni like you (there is a guy at work that seems very adorbs but I shall not do/say anything because I have terrible luck :bigcry:)

That Matt manip though. Oh my days

I wanna tango (assuming that they're doing the tango) with Dom! :wacky: Except for the fact that I would step all over his toes.

That's fantastic.

It doesn't look like I will go to Reading after all. :\

I just got the letter confirming my successful application for the summer internship working at the labs (which is pretty amazing, I must say :escaping:) so it will literally be impossible for me to get from Brighton to Reading on the Saturday night and then back again on the Sunday night (I will be working at my normal job over the weekend and then the internship in the week).

Oh well.

ETA: 1000th post. Yay! :awesome:

Awww, Natt. I'm sorry. But hey, at least you did get that internship; I'm sure that, in a practical context, is much more important.

Congrats on Posst #1000! :awesome:

This. :)

Is it a paid internship? If so, even though it shuts down Reading, it could mean a lot more funds for gigs in the future. Even if it isn't paid, at least you still have your standard job as well!

Congrats on Posst #1000! :awesome:

Thank you

It probably is in the long term... But I'm a terribly short-sighted person right now and I'm all like... NO MOOZE :bigcry: My tutor when she emailed me this morning to double check asked me about going to Reading Festival in the middle. Apparently I have my priorities outlined to all academic staff :laugh3:

It is a paid internship. I get £200 a week and if my report is the best I get an extra £500 and have to go and present it to a board of Profs/Doctors in London (that, would be terrifying). And hopefully putting that together with normal work means I can fund more of my extra-gig-activities come next September.

Wow, that's a good salary. Good luck on that report; we'll cheer you on to win that extra 500. :D

That's a bummer. :\

Although in the long run, your job is definitely much more important.

Aww. :\ But well done for getting the internship!

Aw, Natt. But still, it's fantastic that you got the internship! It sounds pretty amazing. Congratulations! :nice:

Do they usually broadcast Reading and Leeds on tv?

I was just thinking. . . When is BabyBellz due?

Umm...July maybe? June or July? I hope it's not August, as Matt won't be around thanks to festivals. I recall reading K was already 4-months pregnant when it was first revealed, and that was several months ago.

That sounds about right.

I don't think it'll affect a festival, after all Chris's many kids didn't affect more than a week.

I still say it will be a boy. :wacky:

Yeah, June/July sounds about right.

I say it will be a boy too. :wacky:

As for Reading/Leeds on TV, I'm not sure, they show other festivals like Glastonbury, V, T in the Park ect. so it should be broadcast too.

Yeah, pro shots of Megalomania and Dark Shines! :cheesy:
