I have a request for the Muser community today.

 

I have a lot of online friends. There's one in particular I have to mention. Her name is Nancy. She's a Muser like us and, like me, Chris is her favorite.

 

Anyway, she's been in a "critical situation," and from the updates I'm getting, her percentage of survival is looking bleak. I don't have a lot of information, as her brother (who posts updates on Facebook) isn't really giving too much out at this time. I was wondering if you could please keep Nancy in your thought and pray for her to get through this time. I don't know her on an intimate basis, but I do know that her love for Muse is great and she's a pretty awesome person. Thanks, guys.

Actually, the family has received contact from Matt, and from what her brother says, he's been most gracious to them. The band plans on playing "Invincible," dedicating it to her, and they're sending a signed Bellamy Manson for her. That's the info I got from the last status update.

Oh wow, that's super amazing of the band for reaching out like that! If things are indeed bleak like you say, then it sounds like this is the kindest thing that could possibly happen. :)

Oh wow. :surprised: Matt's just too nice. What a great thing for the band to do, and I'm sure it'll cheer her up loads.

 

Although I'm sure she'd rather be healthy and have no Manson than this sick with one. :sad:

Yeah, I know. It's amazing how it all worked out. I know for sure Nancy will be more than happy to know that the boys are thinking of her. I'll try to post updates as I see themfor you guys.

As for showing Reading and Leeds... The BBC have coverage on it both on TV and on their website afterwards. They record most of the set and put it on their website to watch back. Last year I rewatched Phoenix after getting back from Reading because I was so far back I didn't see anything... And I think about 75%-80% of the set was online.

Update: It was a rough night last night, and Nancy is currently in surgery. Keep praying hard for her, guys. I've just posted on her wall letting her know how much support she's getting from you guys.
