This must be like the best video ever! Strawberry Swing :D

Save for when i saw Coldplay live, Charlie Brown was far and away the best performance that I have ever seen by any artist or band. Absolutely incredible.

And the epic Strawberry Swing now - and Life in Technicolor II has not been played yet, right?

I doubt that there will be time to play more songs after that.

noooooo if i listen to ETIAW now i won't be sleeping soon, so much adrenaline!!!!

Christmas Lights - nice to hear that one (they are still playing a Justin Bieber song on the radio where Christmas is mentioned - so why not Christmas Light).

And now Every Teardrop is a Waterfall. Maybe they also play Paradise and Charlie Brown.

But they skipped LiT II, didn't they?

This journey made me miss old Coldplay :(

Same here !!!

every tear, every tear, every teardrop is a waterfall...

I think it is over now - it is also past 1 central European time now.

But thanks for the link and for good company, fellow coldplayers.

The Best and Worst Performances of the 2012 Brit Awards

Coldplay, “Charlie Brown”

brit-awards-coldplay1.jpg?w=576

Adele might be the darling of the music industry but these are the Brits and this is Britain! Which means but one thing: Coldplay rules the roost and gets to open the show. But Chris Martin and his band of (somewhat) merry men have ended up drawing the short straw as the assorted masses — both the industry folk concentrating on their meal (English lamb in green herbs on pea puree, with spiced red cabbage, and a little lamb and mint Cornish pasty) and the “real” fans down in front — fail to engage with “Charlie Brown,” the latest cut off Mylo Xyloto. ‘Tis a shame because it’s one of the record’s standout moments and you can usually rely on Coldplay to deliver on the live front. But the performance feels as if it’s a rehearsal, as if nobody bothered to let the audience or band in on a crucial piece of information: THE SHOW HAS STARTED! As the subject of the single would say: Good grief.

Grade: C-
