I've never been to philadelphia...is that where they shot rocky?...I was just watching part of one of the Rockys yesterday...How many rockys are there? It's been such a long time.

to answer your question, yes they shot rocky here, and i think there are not a total of four of them...

 

if you remember the famous scene with stallone running up the steps of the art museum with the inspirational music playing (gonna fly now), i live about 10 blocks away from there.

 

just a semi-interesting little tidbit. :smug:

10 minutes away from those steps...that's cool. I like that scene! I heard there are many historical things to see in philadelphia. Hey do you guys have a particular accent? I stopped in philly or pittsburg on the way to chicago...and the people that worked there had an accent. Here in the midwest/ Chicago they way we sound nasal...I don't see it...or rather...i don't hear it

yeah i think we tend to pronounce our O's strangely. long and short.

 

and apparently when we talk about our beloved football team, way say "Iggles," but i don't think i've ever actually heard that.

 

i do know a guy from pittsburgh who's a fan of the pittsburgh "stillers," though.

 

oh, and the people from the midwest i've met DO sound nasal to me. :P

i wanted to put eastern europe (i don't know i just want to go to europe) but i think i put eastern asia instead.
