of course they're not better than The Beatles but they are pretty similar...to The Beatles' early career of course (unless One Direction decide to start experimenting with drugs)

I'm actually writing an essay on the British invasion right now. I know a lot of people see parallels between The Beatles and one direction but I don't see it....:shrug: To me it seems like One Dircection is being "sold". They're more like The Monkees than The Beatles, at least in terms of the way they are marketed. But I don't know. That's just me.
