No Fix You is so good song that it never gets old or over used:P

I get really weird when people cover bands that I love, and I did not care for Matthew Morrison's version at all.

 

On topic.......I don't think it's been used too much. I don't watch 1/2 of those shows anyways, but it wasn't really that many in my opinion. At least not to clarify it as overused.

I can't deny that I get emotional when I'm watching a sad scene and suddenly Fix You (or any of their songs) starts playing... But yes, absolutely.

 

Their music in general is over used on TV here in the Netherlands. I hear them almost every day at some point and I don't watch TV that much. And it's not just Paradise or Viva, yesterday I heard High Speed in the background somewhere. High Speed!

I've never seen Fix you on any show I've watched (yet), so i can't say it's been over used :lol:

Yes! Fix You is, without a doubt, over used. And quite frankly, I find it annoying. (Not the song, mind you, just the fact that I always here on TV.)

Well, I very seldom hear Coldplay here in Finland. I remember one time I heard a Coldplay song on TV and it was on American Idol:D And Viva la Vida and Clocks are the only songs that come from radio here, so I can't say Fix You is over used.

Well, Fix You is an amazing song and I can see why so many producers wold want to use it, but knowing that Chris wrote it for Gwyneth when her father passed away, I can't really make the song conform to any other situation on TV.

Coldplay songs can never be overused :smug: I love it when you hear the first notes of a Coldplay song on TV!

 

The Newsroom is great btw. Haven't reached the Fix You episode yet in the UK so I'll be waiting for that!
