New Grouper Album Coming, Plus Reissue of Dragging a Dead Deer Up a Hill

On February 4, Liz Harris, aka Grouper, will release two albums of material she made back in 2008. Alongside a reissue of her LP Dragging a Dead Deer Up a Hill, which has been out of print physically for years, Kranky will release The Man Who Died in His Boat, an album of unreleased material from that same period.

Also I've noticed that Ocean Colour Scene has a new album out, yes it appears they are still going.

 

That brings back memories of seeing them doing an accoustic show at the Colston hall, on the Friday of the late May Bank holiday weekend back in 2006, which marked the first time I drove to Bristol (and ended up getting lost and parking in a 'secure' car-park a good 10 minute walk from the venue costing me just shy of £8) Also seeing them at the old Carling Academy in Bristol with my brother as my birthday present in 2007 where he got lost getting out of Bristol trying to get back on the A4 where the show finished at 9:30pm as the venue was being used afterwards for a club/disco night.
