If you're watching tonight's episode of "Saturday Night Live", and you didn't blink, you might have noticed this: an extremely brief-- and extremely mysterious advertisement-- for Daft Punk. It featured a glittery Daft Punk logo, followed by the image pictured above, used in the announcement of their alliance with Columbia Records. It played a tiny snippet of what appears to be new music.

Hudson Mohawke Plans New Album for This Year, Working With Kanye West

Scottish producer Hudson Mohawke has had a hell of a year. Not only did he break out with TNGHT (with fellow producer Lunice), but he also scored a production deal with Kanye West's imprint G.O.O.D. Music. (His solo work will continue to be issued by Warp). Now, HudMo is busy with a new record, telling NME that his follow-up to 2009's Butter will "definitely" be out this year. Although he's busy with other projects, including work on Kanye West's new album, "I always want my own stuff to be the main focus."

New Daft Punk Album Registered By Sony, Will Have 13 Tracks

According to the EDM Twitter account, Sony Music Entertainment have registered the fourth Daft Punk studio LP with music rights agency PPL. A screen grab, available below, shows that a 13 track album registered to Daft Punk and recorded in 2013 is now on the system. The record runs to 74:40.

Yesss I can't wait for this one. I'm really glad that Lola (I Should Live in Salt) made it on the album. Loved that one.

Also, I'll be finally seeing them this summer, after missing them two times in 2010 and 2011.
