Guess coldplay song

Featured Replies

In this interview, Chris talks briefly about his writing process. There's another interview where he says nearly the same, resulting in a particular song.

The song you'll find there shares similarities to another Coldplay song, whose video features the person in the answer to this riddle.

No please stay ! :)

Hey, you see where I go sometimes. All the way the other side when it is right in front of me.[emoji1]

That's the fun of it. And the thing you learn too. [emoji4]

Maybe if I can make any sense of the riddle I'll try...

But it's been months since I solved anything here lol

The last line confuses me.

But I think the song in the interview could be "What If".

And another song that has a video and has similarities is Fix You.

How can you know it when you don't even try

But if you never try you'll never know.

i can see how the last line is confusing. a person in the video is also in the song i'm looking for - but of course, it's not Chris! :P

another hint: in the first interview, Chris talks about the tuning of the guitar. in the second interview you need to find, he talks about chords.

think a little later than X&Y era, guys ;)

You do realise they have a lot of interviews. [emoji1]

I was fixing on the "fishing".[emoji1]

yeah, i realized after i wrote it too that he said a lot more in that first interview than i remember him saying :P

to narrow it down more... Chris plays the "particular song" in the clip you're looking for...

Christmas Lights is a song with a video and he is talking about the process of writing of Wedding Bells in some interview (iTunes or Apple...)

In Christmas lights we have Phil [emoji4]

In Christmas lights w3 have Phil [emoji4]

Oh, you're right ! And they both share the line "got all kinds of poison in my blood" !

both interviews for Clocks and Wedding Bells are from South Bank Show documentary

@Nie is right about Christmas Lights, but there is still another person in the Christmas Lights video :sneaky:

I think Simon Pegg is too.

Edit: all that was from digging in my memory.

I have double checked Google and the 3rd famous one is Tim Crompton, friend of the band and frontman of The High Wire. [emoji4]

You can do it, I'm a bit busy with something a lot of people are waiting for :wink2:

Haha I know what you mean ! Sorry about not replying to your PMs yet, by the way.

I'm at the moment really busy with writing something no one's waiting for (my stupid thesis, LOL) so can someone else please do it ?

Well I have done my job. I'm going to think of a new riddle. :)

I leave it to @Nie because she has made the most crucial connection of Wedding Bells and Christmas Lights here. :)

Nie is the riddle-solving queen

Nie is the riddle-solving queen

I do have my moments that I'm good in solving, but they are rare. :D

Btw, can you check our answers in the Guess the coldplay song - Emoiji attack thread? :wink3:

I'm sorry, I couldn't do this sooner.

Here is the new riddle:

In the 20th century, a Belgian was born on the 13th February (:P).

The last 2 digits of his birth year will lead you to the song that I want.

Georges Simenon - 1903

I can think of three songs that mention three (lol), The Nappies - I'm Your Baby's Daddy or I Ran Away or Moving To Mars

If it is a connection with Live 2003 instead, well Moses was a song that is unique to that release.

?

Omg, I thought that you had already solved it. [emoji1]

But no, not the song that I'm looking for.
