Nie
61 years before? Have been looking for different scenarios but 61 years from those dates nothing really exiting happened. [emoji1]

Nie
Coldplay met in 1996, so 61 years earlier something was invented that they use. Well the electric guitar was invented in 1935. But how do I match that with a Coldplay song?
I ran away
You got the year right. Really, the electtric guitar ? I didn't even know that ! But the important thing is, the thing we are looking for was invented in the place where it began...
coldplayisawesome
apparently Twitter was invented in 1935, too! the boys have used that :P http://www.infomarketingblog.com/twitter-invented-in-1935/

At least you are in the right place now ! Another hint (cause I know it is a difficult one): Coldplay is not currently using "it" anymore.
Nie
Another hint (cause I know it is a difficult one): Coldplay is not currently using "it" anymore But they have before? I've seen interesting things that were invented in 1935, but to connect them with Coldplay... Ok, a guess, the radar --> radio waves --> waves => Crest of Waves? I ran away
No... To be exact: Coldplay has used it for 6 years continuously, then stopped using it, and then used it one more time before they dropped it altogether.

coldplayisawesome
i think there is a key part of the riddle we're leaving out a change made in the place where it started, 61 years before it started "a change made..." so the clue is talking about the Albertus font, something changing because of or along with its invention in 1935?? guy42
X&Y? The ampersand "&" is supposedly not Albertus...

I ran away
It's none of the mentioned songs. Really, the & in X&Y is not Albertus medium ?? Didn't know that ! The change made was a hint at the font - many streets signs in London (the place where Coldplay started) were changed to Albertus, and even the offical coat of arms of the City of London started using Albertus. I wanna hear the song with which Coldplay started using it as well...
