I always look into this thread and think I want to try to solve one of those riddles again but then I read the riddle and remember why I didn't look into the thread all the time... :laugh4:

But this time I'll at least try:D

That year, one day before the day associated with love, somebody was born.

Could we be talking about Christmas?

my first thought was Feb. 13th, the day before Valentine's Day

Oh I agree, that's probably a better guess:D

I'm just looking at the list of people born on Feb 13th but it isn't bringing me any further...

That's why this part of the riddle is not the first one :D Go step by step !

But I don't get the first part! :D

I have worked my way from the bottow up too.

Looked at persons who were born the 13th february.

And I found Peter Gabriels (1950).

After some Google searches I found out that Chris once introduced him to the R&R Hall of Fame and that they both have performed a song "Washing of the Water". Seems it is one of Chris' favorites.

AND, it contains the following lyrics:

"But here in this water, my feet won't touch the ground"

So-ohooooh, my guesses are :

- Now my feet won't thouch the ground

- Strawberry Swing

both have "water themes"

or Life in Technicolor ii :D

That's an interesting find, but no to all of it, I'm afraid...

LOL, at least those are ruled out now. [emoji23]

By the way, I have found an article about a certain Egon Eiermann.

But it was in German and I tried to translate.

I think it said that he swore on his soul that the stadium could be build.

And it was by Frei Otto.

Am I on a right track here?

At first I didn't have the faintest idea what you're talking about... I just looked it up, but it doesn't have anything to do with the riddle.

(But your creativity in coming up with ideas and theories continues to astonish me :D and I just watched the Gabriel Hall of fame induction with Chris)

Ok I have done my share for today. [emoji16]

I have to let it rest for a while.

Robbie Williams was born on 13 February too.

If someone wants to dig into that...

If someone wants to dig into that...

No please don't, everybody. I assure you it won't help you :)

You have to work on the first sentence of the riddle first, it is the key to everything !

First step:

1st European Tour 2017 concert is in Olympiastadion Munich Germany - 6/6.

I have worked my way from the bottow up too.

Haha I found Peter Gabriels as well trying to find people born on Feb 13th... :D

That's how far I've come... But I can't think of any names that would be related to the stadium...

Wait, maybe the name is Olympia??

I was looking for famous people called Olympia but I could only find a german article... But it doesn't lead me anywhere.

Obviously there's also an asteroid called Olympia:D

I'm gonna put the first clue into a clearer wording now so that it goes on the right direction.

You may have to look up a word...

If you would swear "never" to say this person's name in German, you would already have contradicted yourself.

So I guess this requires us to know a little bit of German. @flockofbirds222, give it a try :)

Never in German = nie [emoji16]
