It's the thread "Have Yourself A Horrible Awful Christmas" :P

Hilarious!! Let me help a bit: Opposite of "have", as used here, is like "Do", would be "Don't". Enough said.@Coldplayisawesome already guessed the song, their turn if they guess the threads, the author tie and the chart positions. If annyone else gets all three of those things, then I think they might steal the win!

I guess this (real) one would count:

My day sucked but how was urs?

Well, I have found the author and Chart positions. (Never heard of that one either).

But that was easy doing some reverse lookup. [emoji4]

That thread though... still is a mystery.

@Nie guessed Don't Let it Break Your Heart before, although now i'm not sure if she meant the thread or the song! :P but based on the last clue, that's my guess for the thread that is "opposite"

and i knew Coldplay had done a cover of Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas so i looked it up and it was co-written by Hugh Martin and Ralph Blane (although apparently there's controversy about that)... the first paragraph of the Wikipedia page also says "In 2007, ASCAP ranked "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" the third most performed Christmas song, during the preceding five years, that had been written by ASCAP members. In 2004 it finished at #76 in AFI's 100 Years...100 Songs rankings of the top tunes in American cinema." so there's the chart positions :P

That's a riddle on it's own. [emoji39][emoji1]

They (Chris) have actually covered it minimum three times in their career :)

And it is on the Mince Spies ep.

(And that's why I grant it as a Coldplay song)

covers are interesting. i was thinking of the recorded version on Mince Spies EP, so any other performance in my brain is just a live performance of that cover... no matter when they were performed

You're right, but the way of piano playing and singing does differ significantly between the three...now don't kill me, but ahem, you might have a chance to find out for yourself very soon (wink, wink :P)

@coldplayisawesome: You nailed all three clues!! Don't Let it Break Your Heart is the near opposite thread I had in mind. The chart positions and Hugh Martin as co-author are exactly right. The other related thread, of course, would be Secret Santa 2016, as it is dealing with Christmas. Nicely done! Take it away....

haha, i had a feeling your knowledge came from perhaps compiling songs for a certain reason ;) :laugh3:

woo hoo! ok, i'll try to come up with a new one today...

did you just get your inspiration from the livestream ? :D

it's possible that seeing the Xylobands inspired me

Umm, any guesses ?

Here's a hint. Yellow and Green Eyes both have a special property that sets them apart from other songs. Find the next one in line with that property.

Also where are you, Nee, seems like we nied you ! :P

This thread was burried under a lot of others. And the app on my phone is only showing a number of recent threads.

*I'm only looking for excuses* [emoji39]

Hmmm, is this a hidden hint?

Yes?

I thought about A Spell A Rebel Yell, if it is related to the letters I think there are two answers :p
