I thought about A Spell A Rebel Yell, if it is related to the letters I think there are two answers :p

Hmmm, I forgot about that one.

We're probably wrong then. [emoji16]

And I forgot Yes o_O

And I forgot Yes o_O

There is also Goodbye and goodnight. [emoji4]

Well I could say that Yes is on an album (like the other 2) while A Spell A Rebel Yell is a B-side and Goodbye and goodnight is a demo.

True. By the way, I can't remember if I've ever heard that demo

Thanks, I'll listen to it later. I'm on my way back home and hopefully by then I'll know if we are right or wrong

Hmmm, is this a hidden hint?

No, it was just a name joke. Sorry, couldn't resist :P

None of the songs named is correct, but may I ask what your respective reasonings were ? Just curious, and maybe I can give a better hint then :)

Isn't that obvious? [emoji39]

What Yellow and Green Eyes have in common = YE

So we looked for another song withe YE in the title

In my defence, I only got about 1.5 - 2 hrs of sleep today, submitted my thesis (yeah !) and then spent the rest of the day rushing through overflowing shops in town buying Christmas presents and all the stuff we need for the upcoming public holidays and my flight on Monday....My brain and body are about dead right now ! :)

So, this is not the reasoning we're looking for indeed, but one of the things you found out may be helpful if you see the larger context.

Also, this riddle has to do with numbers as well.

No, and the pattern we're looking for is not an alliteration, in case that was your reason :)

it was not, but good to know :p

although i realized that actually if i had followed my own logic correctly my guess should have been Low not SITS... but i'm thinking that's still not the answer anyway :D

Now that is a different story. It's not the answer yet but like the others above, you have discovered something important there. Now think numbers....

originally my thought was to go by track listing

Yellow = #5 on Parachutes

Green Eyes = #7 on AROBTTH

Low = #9 on X&Y

but also Yellow contains Low and Green Eyes contains Yes...

Haha, that was one of my initial thoughts. [emoji1]

well, i know Fix You has both X&Y ;)

but if you jumble it around there's also U.F.O.

is it intentional that the song title within the song title in the hint is three letters long in both cases?

Up With the Birds has Birds!

Everything's not lost?

1. Yellow 2. Green Eyes 3. ...?

Yellow= 1 word and ends with a song - Low

Green Eyes = 2 words and ends with a song - Yes

Everything's not lost = 3 words and ends with a song - Lost

Up With the Birds has Birds!

Haha you beat me in speed while I was typing.

That would be 4.

A song with 4 words that ends with a song. [emoji4]

Congrats on submitting your thesis :)

@guy42 got the right answer ! Up with the Birds.

But it was not about the number of words. Let's put it like had, the answer you had to find was 5-7.

What an achievement! Celebrate!![emoji310]

Everything's not lost?

Yellow= 1 word and ends with a song - Low

Green Eyes = 2 words and ends with a song - Yes

Everything's not lost = 3 words and ends with a song - Lost

I think this is brilliant reasoning, Nie!!
