What's football got to do with University? :blank: I don't support any teams and I've applied to Birmingham, Manchester, Warwick and Bristol. So far I've only got an offer from Birmingham but I'm going for an interview at Manchester.

I've applied for Maths at all of them, but Bristol's Maths course is full so they suggested I try Engineering Maths instead.

Good luck with the interview :).

Uni is so expensive :(.

Oh lord no. The correct term is a Corkonain :charming: ... but no seriously, that is what people here call themselves.

I do study at university (although i'm getting a weird kind of degree, so I study at an institute, but it's public and belongs to a university...France is complicated :| )

I applied to study at university in Edinburgh next year  :fingersx:

Good luck with that! :cheesy:

Isn't it kinda expensive? .. :uhoh:

Thank you! :cheesy:

It's not, because you see, Scotland has a great system! :cheesy:

For students coming from Scotland or the EU, uni is basically free! :cheesy:

However, and that's where it gets quite funny (although rather unfortunate for some people), there are tuition fees, and they're quite expensive, for students coming from...the other parts of UK! :cheesy:

lollol

it's so unfair

we have to pay 9k a year :bigcry:

My mum recently spent all the money she was saving for my uni fees on solar panels :blank:

But at least I'm getting an inheritance when I turn 18 so that'll help a little bit :cheesy:

we are poor so we get bursaries hopefully

I'm going to cry I don't get them because I don't know how the hell I'm going to pay for accommodation.

Thank you! :cheesy:

lollol AWESOME!

Last semester of my bachelors... :D

Back home the best unis are run by the government, and are so cheap. Only when there 1 semester, with the scholarship I got, payed only $50, but if you have to pay it all, it is about $300. And that was at the best uni in the country, 21st in latin america.

I'm on my gap year

Although it's been extended from 1 year to currently 7 years and hasn't got an end date on it, so it's not really a gap year at all :P

I got fed up with education and wanted to start earning some money, before heading to Uni, that was before the economy collapsed and the training contracts I was aiming to get were redrawn.
