I really don't though. I know you all don't like to hear that but I really don't. I rarely post my opinion. I read and then I move on. (Maybe that's why I have so much less posts:P) That's just my approach. Funny how people call Coldplay copiers of other people's music, when they never mention how many songs Pitbull and Flo Rida ripped off...or how Taylor Swift copied parts of The Scientist and how David Guetta copied elements of Clocks smh...

Also Reilly I'm not going to reply to your post because I feel like I've already addressed most of that stuff in other posts on here. Even though a lot of your responses actually seem just plain disrespectful to me, I feel like this is kind of settled and as I said above I do not want to become part of what I see as a problem. You can talk without sharing your thoughts about everything. I often do. I'm not saying you all can't talk about your views on everything, I just don't do that. If I don't like something I keep it to myself and talk about something I do like. I don't post in a thread of a band I don't like for example, I just go to a different thread. It's just the way some people, like me, are. I don't like debating, I just like a straightforward conversation. It's just a different way of conversation. I would really appreciate it of you all realized that.

I'm only stating it because it was in response to another post. I don't go put of my and start debates by saying "I don't agree with this post". That's what I don't get.

I think we realised that the first time you wrote it (This is like the 3rd or 4th) the problem is that you've come in here and imposed your opinion ignorantly on what appears the rest of humanity. You're aware you don't like negative threads/opinions/debates whatever, you know that's different to other people and that won't change, so I don't see what you're trying to achieve.

 

I came in here and stated my opinion, I did get a little defensive when Fitz was trying to be a smart ass and laugh at it, other then that the only person who's come in here and vaguely started pointing fingers at everyone and causing actual arguments is you with those stupid posts you made.

I enjoy reading debates and discussions on here because it's interesting and it's a good mental exercise for me to put my thoughts into words. If I read something interesting (like this article) and I wanna write about it, I will because I wanna add to the discussion, like I have trouble explaining this, the idea of someone asking what is the point of discussion is absurd.

 

I'm not gonna stop voicing my words for anyone if I'm not harming anyone. Like I said earlier, just calm down, drink some tea, it's not a big deal. Or take a break from posting here if it really upsets you that much.

 

Sorry, nobody's gonna stop having opinions just because of you. I would sympathize if people were being hostile and bullying but they weren't at all. One day everyone just has to learn that people have different opinions, and that's just fine. It's far too unimportant to let it ruin your day. It was a discussion on Coldplay and people's opinions on Coldplay and everyone was on topic. I'm sorry you're frustrated but you are way too self-entitled to think that everyone should stop expressing themselves if you don't like it.

Sure it's good for that too, I think anyone half interesting is able to have a thoughtful debate about something without getting emotional, the idea of not having an opinion is just scary to me as I think we learn far more from each other and from life in sympathising with differences. But if anyone doesn't want that, then fine, after all I won't have to read about it (Or so you'd think).

For me, it is a reality that we all have different opinions in one way or another but by sharing our own ideas, we soon realized something that we never knew before. You know, sharing ideas and opinions really is a healthy exercise. We gradually understand better our environment and the point that we are talking about. It is much more of a give and take movement. It involves respect but at the same time, it involves the ability to test our points... to separate the good and vital ones from our not-so-good ideas.

I made it clear from the start I had no intention in being polite after your initial ignorant post which was aimed at me and people like me, so I never pretended I was trying to make a real debate out of this, I could tell you'd be stubborn and accept no fault for anything so I just went off on one because it'd make no difference anyway.
