EDIT guys I think we all went a little bit too far, we gave our opinion but this wasn't necessary, the people on this board are usually nice to eachother and although we don't agree with what she did, she doesn't deserve all this.

No offense, sweetie, because you clearly didn't mean any harm and no harm was done. But people should no more go to a famous person's House than any other stranger's House. Musicians need and deserve ther privacy as much as anyone else and it's unfair to presume upon theur generosity with their time. How would you feel if a strange guy (not Chris, lol.) Rang your House?

I missed a couple of pages so I didn't mean to flog a dead horse, but I do stand by my comments about there being rude and kind ways to say things. Coldplayers are usually the fruendly fans in the world and ut makes me sad to see us go tt far, much as we mean well, and actually hurt someone.:nod:

You know, maybe I am in the minority here, but think about if Chris came down to greet her and sign a few things? Would we all be reacting this way? It's something to think about.

 

I'm not saying it's right for her to go to Martin's building and see if he would answer the ringer, but maybe the ending to this story kind of changes how we respond to it. Teenage kids can do a hell of a lot worse imo. This isn't that big of a deal.

heh, I just think of the outlandish things people do to get some stars attention, and sometimes it works, and it's always the times that it works that it ends up being some feel good story in the media. This attempt didn't work.. pretty much the end of it. Is it creepy? Yeah, again I don't endorse what she did, but I also don't think it's worth throwing her in the fire over. That's all. She approached a pretty personal area but meh live and learn. Goes for both her and her dad I guess. No harm no foul. Just my opinion.

I would've reacted differently if Toby had come down and signed a few things for her. I mean, wow, a Toby-signed t-shirt.

If he had been there, we would all be happy because he was nice enough not to call the police on her or something like that...

 

It does not change the fact that she went to his house. Why would you go to a house where you know there is security and all that stuff? If you wanted to send a letter, there is a post office, since you already got the address and shit.

 

The only thing I am saying is that she took it too far. And I do not think anyone that has taken it too far previously has received any mercy from this place lol. You are risking the chances of other people meeting them by doing things like that. They might start thinking that they gave us too much by allowing the visits to the bakery, and we took it as an invitation to their houses too...

Ok, what she did was wrong, but this is just 5 pages of people with the same opinion on it, and some weren't really kind in giving their opinion. Why would we keep this going?

 

I just don't see the point of keeping someone telling the same thing over and over. Unless she would be here saying going to celebreties' houses is perfectly ok.... But yeah, now she wants to delete her account and called us ****s. Great. Let's continue, this will help.

 

Anyway I don't hink she will come back to the forum after this.

Everyone is entitled to give their opinion on this, just stay civil when doing so.

Anybody can do whatever they want as long as they don't break any laws. The fact that many of us would not go that far (going to Chris's house, rang the bell, etc.) does not mean that what this girl did has to be strongly condemned.

 

I understand that the boys privacy has to be respected but after all they are aware that they are famous and it is absolutely NORMAL that a crazy fan appears at your front door or someone approaches in a restaurant just to say hello.

 

In my humble opinion, I think many are making a big deal of this.
