November 16, 201312 yr Author I think someone retracted a bid because the total of biddings so far is lower than yesterday (- £240).

November 17, 201312 yr  Chris Martin of Coldplay's smashed Fender Telecaster, which was used throughout the Mylo Xyloto tour from 2011-2012. At the end of the song "God Put A Smile Upon Your Face", Chris often threw this guitar up into the air and allowed it to smash to the floor (you can see a video of that happening at ). wat heaven forbid a magical breeze ever lifted it a bit far off course in mid-air

November 17, 201312 yr Tick Tock Probably would have raised more money by doing a £5 an entry raffle, would get more fans included with a chance of winning unique items, rather than the fans with lots of spare cash.

November 17, 201312 yr £2,499.11 8 minutes Damn myself, I'm meant to be working on my uni coursework, instead I'm following an ebay auction
November 17, 201312 yr I wonder if ebay will give back the £40 in final selling fees, plus whatever the paypal fee is going to be? Ended up at 3200, jumping from 2600 in the final seconds At least the winner has earnt 3200 nectar points, enough to get £16 back :P
November 17, 201312 yr I'm kinda surprised to see that all those items don't raise even more money, especially the clothes... I mean the Viva items raised a bit more, didn't they? But anyway, this is all really terrific for Kids Company. Now I just hope that at some point all those items will find their way to museums or places where they can be preserved, exposed and seen by a lot of people.
November 17, 201312 yr £9100 so far for the guitar My prediction, at least £10000 Edit - Just jumped £1100 in last second
November 17, 201312 yr They are only listing shipping to the UK. So I would have to make arrangement to go rip the clothes off Jonny myself if I win. :whip:
November 17, 201312 yr £10100 Jumped to 9600 at 10 seconds, then to 10100 at 2 seconds. Beat me again Tash :P
They're not terribly off from what the viva items were, especially considering these can only apparently ship to the UK, whereas only a few items were so limited in the last sale. The relative breakdown of prices is even similar. (ie what sorts of items are going highest to lowest.)
November 17, 201312 yr Oh I had no idea they were shipping to the UK only! That must indeed be the main reason. Just found the old End of decade clear out sale thread, looks like last time was kind of the opposite from today: the clothes went higher last time (£4800 for Guy's jacket, £2355 for Jonny's cap only!) but the instruments went higher this year (Jonny's guitars raised £6800 and £5200).
November 17, 201312 yr End of Decade was thought to maybe be a one time only thing. Since then they have auctioned off a lot of stuff thereby driving prices down.
